So I updated to this last night and am experiencing random crashes. The system was 100% stable on the older bios at idle and under load (Prime95 etc).
I lost all my saved bios profiles when the update flashed so I had to redo all the settings (thankfully I had taken pics of the previous bios pages before the update), but I'm left wondering if I am missing something?
Or is this bios just unstable? It's weird. I ran Prime95 blend for 30 mins with no errors and temps were fine/within range. Then an hour later I'm just using the machine on a Zoom meeting with a colleague and boom, it just hard resets.
It's hard reset a few times now and it's doing my head in. What am I missing? Any pointers? I'm pretty confident in bios and with overclocking but I can't for the life of me work out what the issue is here. It doesn't seem to matter what I change - power in DIGI VRM, PBO, AMD Overclocking, RAM timings etc - nothing seems to make a difference, it just hard resets seemingly at random.

Downloaded the newest BIOS update v5044 via the Asus website.
Formatted the thumb drive to FAT32.
Extracted the CAP file to a temp folder.
Changed the file name per the instructions.
Loaded the file onto a 4GB thumb drive.
Reboot.
Press DEL.
Navigate to tools submenu at the top of the page, click on EZ flash update utility, click to locate the CAP file to update the BIOS. However, there is no CAP file located on the thumb drive even though I can see the file within file explorer.
Hello,
The last BIOS update I completed was when v3604 was released. I've been trying to update to v4002 to 4021 and I can't get ANY of these to apply. Using EZ Update from the AI tool, it installs, reboots the system and never comes back up, fails, F1 to bypass and try again. Only ONCE has it completed the install, rebooted back up no issues, but did not update the bios.
I've not had any problems with this method in years with multiple boards. Anyone else seeing this, not seeing this?
Thank you!
