Try Secretary from 2002. The chemistry feels real without being over the top, and the whole thing is shot in such a simple way that the little visual moments like Lee in the pool or the ending with all the greenery really stands out. What I love is how you actually see Lee grow into herself while Grey learns to open up. It’s not some goofy romcom setup, it’s two people figuring each other out, and it ends up being one of the most romantic finales I’ve seen. My next recommendation isn’t from Amazon Prime but on YouTube, and it isn’t a movie or video. It's audio. It’s from the channel Best Kept Secret. It’s basically about a desperate ex boyfriend rambling after being dumped by a note, trying to convince her he’s been working so hard for their future, begging her not to leave, and then slipping into full-on clingy comfort mode with pet names, promises, and a lot of over-the-top “I can’t live without you” stuff. I was amazed. Whoever wrote this script needs a raise because the pacing is so good and you can actually feel the desperation simmering and then melting into comfort. More on reddit.com

Try One Day. There's no comedy and fantasy and it's just Dex and Emma over the years. Glances at a party, a day hike, that kiss that should’ve been the start but wasn’t. The chemistry is ridiculous, and by the time it shifts into Dexter’s grief, it hits hard because you’ve been seeing it mostly through Emma’s side. It’s a slow burn then gut punch. I watched it in one go and just sat there after. Lol The next one is an audio on Best Kept Secret on YouTube. It’s about a jealous but affectionate boyfriend who sulks over you talking to another guy, then admits he just wants your attention and cuddles to fall asleep.
