My absolute favorite washable area rug solution is Flor tiles . They’re squares of carpet with rubber backing that you put together with large stickers, so they’re not super plush and might not be everyone’s cup of tea, but they can withstand anything! High traffic, dogs and cats, kids, kitchen spills. Over the last decade+, I’ve put them in my entryway, living room, kitchen, office, bedrooms, and garage gym and Ive never been happier with a floor covering. I have a few Ruggables that I also like (the new higher pile tufted style is much better than the earlier version), but nothing beats Flor tiles for ease of cleaning or replacing. Be wary of washable rugs. They are often paper thin and cheaply made. Generally, most people don’t own a washing machine big enough to even fit their washable area rug. Depending on what size you want, actually washing your washable rug may not be feasible. More on reddit.com
