Ah damn, all them people on Tumblr were right… they were absolutely sure an announcement like this was coming soon after seeing their ig posts/movements in the last few months… I hope they are okay, and their kids as well. Staying together out of obligation for your kids never work so hopefully this was the right choice for everyone involved.

After Chrysti went on a Ryan purge on her IG account last night, this is inevitable. One thing I can give them though is that they seem to take care of their kids well. Hope that continues after their split for their kids' sake.

As far as Buddie goes, it looks like Ryan is willing to play the relationship wherever the writers take it but that he likes showing men being vulnerable and able to lean on each other and it's not considered anything more than that. This pretty much is in keeping with his personal push toward awareness of men's mental health. He posts a lot of philosophical, self-help type quotes on his IG. The feeling I get from this and Oliver and Tim's comments is that they all love the relationship between Buck and Eddie and will be showing more of it this season. But they will be going back to how it was shown in S2-3 and that is it for now. I don't think they will be pushing beyond the bromance for the foreseeable future. But I think they will keep it open-ended for S7. More on reddit.com

Also from what I remember, and I think I’ve talked about this on here before, people at the time were searching through their old tweets specifically looking for reasons to cancel them. After an interview Ryan did (I think in relation to Eddie begins but I’m not sure) where he said something along the lines of “this quarantine has been a blessing” for letting him focus on family and hobbies, people were coming after him saying people are dying how can you say that. He then tweeted saying he was talking about “silver linings” and the (twitter) fandom response to that was basically “f*ck your silver linings” and they basically decided to hate him. Anyway I think he’s quirky and really bad at wording himself sometimes, but he has gotten way more hate than he deserves imo More on reddit.com
