My motherboard is a X570 aorus elite wifi (bios F37d) 3200 XPG ram D60G 4x8 (XMP) with a 800w platinum full modular power supply with a 3060 XC 2 nvme 4.0 and 2.5 laptops HDD i want the best settings for the bios settings based on my setup pls help this is my first overclock with this cpu

Hey all, just wanted to share my experience with PBO/CO settings after tirelessly sifting through too many confusing reddit and forum posts about "optimal" curve optimizers and PBO settings. I was having issues with Ryzen auto-tuning CO/PBO settings, it never said it was stable. And yes, silicone lottery, what's your cooling situation, yadayadayada... Got it to find a per-core setting that was stable, with much lower PBO settings than the motherboard "out-the-box" settings (Running Gigabyte x570 Elite Wifi. It found -25 to -28 undervolt per core as opposed to my -20 all core settings. Cinebench wouldn't finish, PC just kept stalling/hanging and rebooting, and anytime I did get a benchmark to complete, clock speeds topped out at 4.85 GHz 75 C loads (Ryzen master settings) compared to 5.1 GHz 69 C loads (Mobo/Advanced UEFI PBO settings, -20 All core).
TLDR; out of the box mobo PBO settings and finding a stable all core undervolt gave me faster and more stable overclocks than struggling with Ryzen Master and 'optimizing' based off forum & reddit posts. Everyone's PC will be different, but if you're wasting time and struggling to find decent performance from RM PBO/CO settings, I suggest just using your motherboards limits and finding a stable all core undervolt in UEFI. Much easier and less frustrating.
Specs:
Mobo: Gigabyte Aorus x570 Elite Wifi
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5800x
RAM: 2 x 16gb 3600mhz G.Skill CL19 DDR4
GPU: Asus RTX 3070 DUAL OC
Storage: Buncha old and slow 1TB Samsung SATA EVO's (850, 750) , 1TB NVME 970 Pro, 2 external 2TB NVME/USBC Samsung drives, and 1TB 15k rpm Seagate HDD.
PSU: 850w Thermaltake G3 (Non-Modular) ATX 3.0
Air cooled, been building out of this case since I was a young lad (20 years).
So, since i could not find what are the exact recommended values, i decided to post this thread hoping that someone can point me in the right direction. I'm getting voltage spikes up to 1.45v, and clock speeds up to 4800 Mhz. What's worse actually, in high demanding games (Such as RED DEAD REDEPMTION 2) temperature sits at 90 degrees. Like... all the time.
I've read a lot about this, some people seem to agree that these voltage and temperature values are ok, however, I'm not convinced. To make things worse, i made a mistake when i chose my cooler, i have a 120mm AIO. Still, I've read posts here from people with 240mm AIO also getting 90 degrees in games. So, basically this CPU runs hot, i get it. What i want to know is, should I change anything in BIOS settings? Should I use it like this, or manually set the voltage and clock speed?
My specs:
Ryzen 7 5800x
Noctua Dh15S
3070 Zotac
MSI B550M PRO VDH WIFI
32 GB Corsair Ram
650W Corsair PSU gold
Im really not a fan of having the cpu run at 1.43 volts.
running cenebench r23. Score is around 14500(multicore) 5260 (Singlecore)When I try to underclock from this software the pc always crashes. so I want to explore bios for OC'ing.Im new to pc so I get intimidated by how many options there are for my bios settings.
Here's what I have in default:
what do i select here? Id like to lower the voltage. What do you think the best settings for my CPU? having an air cooler. Id like to have more clock speed because I do a lot of blender work.
