I was considering a 13700k for CPU (and possibly GPU) upgrade for High productivity, 3D work & light gaming. Should I wait for the 8000 series from AMD or go with the 13th or 14th gen? I'm going to build my PC in a month or two. I'm occasionally frustrated with high loading, importing, and rendering times. I don't think about upgradability since I keep my PC for at least 3-4 years until the hardware falls short on performance for newer hardware, applications, and games. but I definitely won't tolerate the stability issues newer Intel CPUs are going through.
My current specs - i5 8400 & GTX 1060.
Please help out, thank you.
