Ok so is great and I’m happy that PC gamers and content creators get to enjoy the upcoming 7900x3d and 7950x3d and I think these are gonna be FANTASTIC high end products for AM5.
It’s just that I’m still curious to find an explanation on why AMD never released their 5900x3d prototype they showed in their presentations.
They can’t say that it’s due to latencies between two CCDs anymore.
Again just all speculation and curiosity…

Because it ain't running games any faster and it costs much more to produce. Oi, galera! Juntei uma grana e decidi montar um PC Gamer pra mim. Agora, a primeira coisa antes de todo mundo me detonar por trazer o 5800X3D aqui 😂. Os processadores da AMD estão MUITO caros onde eu moro, variando de 850 dólares a 1000 dólares, sério, não é brincadeira. Os mais em conta que achei foram de um cara que tem os dois e não usa. Tô completamente em dúvida entre os dois, vou usar mais pra jogar, mas também faço uns beats e navego com um monte de abas abertas. Não sei qual escolher. Ele tá me vendendo o 5900X por 120 dólares e o 5800X3D por 150 dólares. E de novo, dói, mas não posso nem olhar pros processadores AMD mais recentes agora, e se eu decidir pedir de fora, vou levar uma paulada de imposto. Qual devo escolher? April 7, 2025 - It’s about 10x as likely they make a 5850x3D with the cache under the CPU die 9800x3D style. But sadly, 10x 0 is still 0. ... That's impossible, it's an architecture thing and on both Zen 3 and 4 it cannot be done. They would need to remake almost from scratch the thing, and that would be "next gen" expensive while getting "2 gen old" performance. They could "easily" make a 5900X3D or 5950X3D since the technique would not be that different from 5800X3D, 5700X3D, 5600X3D, and the later Ryzen 9 X3D.

I’m curious to know if it will ever come out as it will be my final cpu upgrade for my X570 motherboard.
Even thought we don’t have benchmarks at the moment I’ve been wondering how a 12 core 3d vcached cpu (Basically a 5800x3d with 50% multi-core performance and two 6 core vcache CCDs instead of one 8 core vcache CCD) would compete with the upcoming 8 core zen 4 7800x.

No, they're not going to put 3d cache on a 6 core die. 5950x3d is possible, but unlikely at this stage

It appears that 7000 is what they are focusing on and imo into the future. So I do not expect them to come out, the 5800X3D was a successful test product for them, something they can implement into the 7000 series. I dont see why AMD would decide to further introduce more AM4 stuff when AM5 is the future, and it would hurt AM5 sales going forward as well. They will continue support, but I do not expect any new products.

Ive been using cpubenchmark a bit and it seems like 5900X is performing similarily to 9800x3d and better than 7800x3d, but it doesn't really sound right to me because its half the price of the x3d's, is it really that good?

Entirely depends on the workload. Both 9800x3D and 7800x3D are significantly faster than 5900x in gaming, but in rendering or simulation software 5900x might match or beat them due to having more cores IMO, synthetic benchmarks are useless 9 times out of 10
