PC won't post after running Ryzen Master curve optimizer run and applying the result - Troubleshooting - Linus Tech Tips
February 9, 2023 - On a new PC build and fresh installation of Windows 11, with all BIOS settings at default except for the RAM profile set to EXPO, my system was running normally. I then ran Ryzen Master's curve optimizer at the "per core" setting and let it finish over the course of ~70 minutes. After it finished...

r/overclocking on Reddit: New Ryzen Master auto curve optimizer issue
April 19, 2022 -

Anybody else having issues with the auto curve optimizer?

I've gotten to 97% on the last core twice and then it'll BSOD and I have to start again.

Since this happened twice I've updated my bios to v18 which is stable from the MSI MAG X570 TOMAHAWK page.

Currently using an 5900x, x570 mag TOMAHAWK mobo, Corsair 3600 dominator platinum ram.

Had pbo and xmp enabled during the previous tests. Will try now with a fresh bios.

Anybody else having similar issues?

r/overclocking on Reddit: Used ryzen master curve optimizer and my PC keeps crashing
December 3, 2023 -

I have a Ryzen 7 5800x and a Aorus Gigabyte B450m pro wifi motherboard, Windows 11. I recently upgraded to the new CPU and have been using it for a couple weeks. I decided to use Ryzen Master to use to auto optimize for the CPU. It took about an hour and I think it blue screened at one point. But when it was complete I hit apply and it went to rest the PC. When it did, the Aorus screen comes up like it it's booting and the blue screens and says it has to restart. When it restarts, it says its going to repair but then crashes again. It just starts doing this over and over. I tried putting the bios into safe mode but that didn't do anything. Please someone help. I'm fairly new to this stuff.

Question - Ryzen Master Curve Optimizer | Tom's Hardware Forum
September 6, 2024 - You can optimize your curves and it will give benefits. When I used the CO it recommended -30 across the board. I ended up doing -30 on all except for the 2 preferred (star) cores shown in Ryzen Master. I did -15 on the gold and -20 on the silver. Anything lower then that would cause occasional issues with the +200mhz boost override I also added.

I have a 7600x. I run ryzen master auto tuning per core curve optimizer and come came up with negative values. 26-26-26-24-26-26. Uninstall Ryzen master and made a clear cmos. Then i enter valeus above in curve optimizer and i had a boot loop (automatic repair). I had to use -20 all core in...

AMD Ryzen Master Curve Optimezer Ryzen 9 5900X | Overclock.net
And it seems like AMD Ryzen Master writes that the optimization is complete and you can apply the settings. I apply the settings, it asks for a reboot to make changes to the BIOS. But after rebooting the computer can't start, gives an error. And so on until I turn off Curvie Optimizer in the BIOS settings.

Ryzen Master - PBO Curve Optimizer Control - Configure in Windows Now! | [H]ard|Forum
April 20, 2022 - So I got my 5950X installed earlier today and was messing around with trying to cool this baby down and decided to give the auto-curve optimizer a go. It attempted to set everything to -30 offset which was so unstable that I had to reset my entire BIOS to get the system to boot again. I have a lot to learn it seems. ... My computer got shut down due to a quick power outage today. I can't use my UPS because my computer draws more power than it can handle. Anyway, I verified that Ryzen Master had put the curve optimizer settings into BIOS, but today performance is way off.

December 12, 2022 - Nope, best guess is if it’s activated in bios it doesn’t show in ryzen master! Happy to test if you have any suggestions ... I'm currently running Ryzen 5 7600x on TUF GAMING A620M-PLUS WIFI. I cannot see the "Curve optimizer" setting in either BIOS or in Ryzen Master.

Question - Ryzen Master Curve Optimizer, how to know if it's really being applied ? | Tom's Hardware Forum
June 19, 2022 - @mforcevirus Go to settings and activate persistent PCD value, it's to keep power limits persistent. This setting should be on by default anyway. Hints: Load optimized default in BIOS, after use only RM OR the BIOS, not both. It's always messy when you do that, RM doesn't seem to like it.

Ryzen Curve Optimizer (CO) stability over time | Page 2 | Overclock.net
I think his claim about Zen2/3 overclocking results is more right than not (maybe not 99% but certainly more than 50%). I tested the "AutoOC +200" CO offsets (-20, -29, -30, -29, -10, -18) with CoreCycler default settings for 4 hours then returned to my "AutoOC +100" offsets (-30, -25, -30, -30, -20, -20). Core 6 is "fastest" and 5 "second fastest" per Ryzen Master, and Core 2 seems to be happy at -30 in both scenarios.

r/AMDHelp on Reddit: I tried optimization curve, and now my pc keeps restarting
September 7, 2025 -

So in the amd ryzen master app, i tried the optimization curve on all cores. After waitingnfor an hour for it to be fully optimized, i applied it. My pc restarted and then everytime i got into my home windows screen it will just restart again and then the blue screen came out in which to choose F1, F8 or Esc. Tried everything on that blue screen but nothing works. What should i do now? I cant even open up ryzen master to disable the optimization curve. r/overclocking on Reddit: Applying Curve Optimizer in Bios - Ryzen Master shows CO is off, Benchmarks Low, Temps High
October 31, 2024 -

To summarize, I downsized from a Lian Li O11 Dynamic to a Lian Li A3.

All same components, only motherboard change:

Motherboard - (was) AsRock X570 Steel Legend -> to -> (currently installed) MSI B550m MAG Mortar Wifi

CPU - Ryzen 5800X3D

Cooler - Corsair H150i AIO (360mm)

Memory - 4x8gb Acer Apollo DDR4 4000mhz CL17

GPU - RTX 4080 FE

PSU - EVGA Supernova 1000

etc.

I downsized my PC and went from an AsRock X570 Steel Legend to a MSI B550m MAG Mortar Wifi.

Before I could apply Curve Optimizer settings either through the bios or Ryzen Master in the Curve Optimizer tab on the AsRock X570 mobo. Results were great with all core boost stable at 4.425ghz at 72C, and CPU scores of ~5500 with 3DMark 4K TimeSpy.

The MSI B550m mobo has Curve Optimizer settings in the bios but I believe it isn't applying. Reasons being Ryzen Master no longer shows the Curve Optimizer settings tab, as well it states that Curve Optimizer is "Off". And now I can't get a 3DMark 4K TimeSpy CPU score above 5100. As well my temps are higher nearing 80C. Curve Optimizer in the bios set to "Auto" (there is no off option) and the scores are the same.

I am at work so I can't grab a screenshot of the ryzen master screen but I will when I get home.

I Submitted a ticket with MSI, hoping to get an answer, but if anyone has any insight I'd love to hear it.

r/AMDHelp on Reddit: Ryzen Master's Curve Optimizer (per core selected) keeps setting my results to "All Cores" at -30 values.
December 16, 2025 -

Ryzen 5 5500 on a ASROCK B550. Im just trying to use Ryzen Master to find some good values per core for me to plug into my bios. I was going to do that and enable pbo. However, Ryzen Master keeps showing up as "All Cores" @ -30.

The way the results are displayed looks as if I chose "All Cores" rather than "Per Core". Idk if it just *looks* that way when all values were equal, or if it is that way because it did all cores rather than per core. It doesn't say "Per Core" and shows them all at -30 like one would expect; it shows "All Core" at -30. Thus, making me not trust the test.

Also, I do not have the greatest cooling. Stock wraith cooler and 1 exhaust and 1 intake chassis fans. So should I completely skip on enabling pbo for now?
