Hello, today I had to reinstall my windows. After installing it I ran into problems with ryzen master not being able to start.
I have tried reinstalling it, deleting Registry files and other online solutions I found.
NOTHING worked for me.
Then as a last hope I contacted one of the most knowledgeable people I know that found a way to fix it. And the fix is extremely illogical.
Chances are, if you have this error you are using and AMD GPU.
Chances, yet again, I would assume you installed the GPU drivers through AMD Adrenaline, but perhaps you forgot to clean on Advanced Settings and check the "Factory Reset" option.
You might think what does the GPU driver have to do with Ryzen master? My guess is as good as yours.
I deleted my Adrenaline, reinstalled it, clicked on factory reset and after installation and PC reboot.

Description of Original Problem: Ryzen Master says "Ryzen Master Driver not Installed properly. Driver Not installed!"
Troubleshooting: I have tried uninstall/reinstall, uninstalling the chipset drivers and reinstalling them, completely cleaning Ryzen Master + it's associated folders from the computer, deleting old RegEdit versions, edited RegEdit "ImagePath" property to remove "??", used the Microsoft tool to check for any program conflicts
This all started because I upgraded from the 3700X to the 5800X. I tried all of the typically recommended fixes and still nothing is working.

So ive installed and launched it fine but when I restart my system the program gives me ryzen master driver not installed properly error.

EDIT: The issue is fixed now thanks to u/EntryLevelDeveloper, in regedit head over to Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Services\AMDRyzenMasterDriverV13 and delete the folder. Make sure to uninstall ryzenmaster before you do this and reinstall after, reboot your system and you should be good to go. To open registry editor type regedit in windows search.
So I tried to open ryzen master today to check cpu temps but ฤฐt said ryzen master driver not installed properly I tried to Uninstall, reboot and install again to no avail I tried deleting AmdRyzenMasterDriver v13 or whatever on registry but It wasn't there. BUT I know the cause (probably): I changed my motherboards post screen on gigabyte's Qbios app I'm thinking of flashing the bios but I thought to first ask here

I downloaded the new version of Ryzen master (RM) and when I click to open it I get "
Ryzen Master Driver Not Installed Properly- Driver Not Installed"
I have tried a fresh install of Windows, AMD Utility clean up, have the new chipset. I saw that if I go ingot registry and delete the old driver and restart it will start. I do that and it works sometimes. I also saw renaming the registry file to the version of RM (V19) helps, and i do that and it works until i close it again. Can someone help with a permeant solution?

Uninstall Ryzen Master & your Chipset Drivers.

Go into regedit Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Services and look for AMDRyzenMasterDriverV## folders, right click and delete them.

Reinstall chipset drivers, reboot.

Reinstall Ryzen Master. Attempt to run it, if it ever fails to start again, delete the regedit folder and reboot.

Under start> Services, make sure workstation is set to automatic.
Are you using two monitors? I found if you try to run RM from the monitor not designated as the main it will require renaming registry files and sometimes even then it won't work without a uninstall and re-install. Also, use revo-uninstaller to remove it as it clears all registry entries.

Uninstalling Ryzen Master an the AMD chipset drivers, restart, reinstall chipset drivers, restart, reinstall Ryzen Master - same error

Got a R5 3600 installed, went to download Ryzen Master. I ran into an issue that I found was fairly common. Just got an error message that read "Ryzen Master Driver Not Installed Properly," followed by "Driver Not Installed!"
Now, I followed the tips online that sent me into Regedit and went looking for AMD Driver v13 and v14. The reason why I'm making this post though, is because neither folder exists in my registry where it was said to be: (Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Services).
It's just listed as one folder: "AMDRyzenMasterDriver." That's it. Do I delete this one folder? I ran the Auto Detect software, and everything is up to date in regards to drivers. Any other resolutions to this problem? Thanks a ton guys.
Iโve been working at this for a couple hours now, and have tried every forum fix under the sun, including Update all drivers and BIOS, everything is current as of 09/13/21 Uninstalling and reinstalling Ryzen master with a restart in between the two Cleaning the Ryzen master drivers out of regedit and then the above steps Changing directory Changing folder ownership Last resort was running CC cleaner to remove everything related, restart computer and then go for an install. Tried it on 3 drives with 3 different directories. No joy and am completely stumped. Figured it out on my end. i have a gigabyte B550 AORUS PRO (rev. 1.0) using BIOS v F13g with a R5 5600x CPUthe fix was uninstalling the "EasyTune" BUT!!!... when normally uninstalling this it, doesn't uninstall everything related to it as another service is installed separately, think it was called easytune services or tuneservices or something like that. noticed it since i use CCleaner(free) to uninstall stuff. so once i uninstalled THAT service after uninstalling easytune, ran ryzen master right after and it loaded just fine. hope this helps everyone.
If you got Gigabyte motherboard and Easy Tune installed, try and uninstall Easy Tune and Ryzen Master, restart and then install Ryzen Master again. Hope this helps.
When I try to launch Ryzen master, either through the performance tab in Radeon software or directly, I get an error that states,
"Ryzen Master Driver not Installed properly"
"Driver Not installed!"
I've tried updating windows and Radeon software, uninstalling and reinstalling Ryzen master, and looking for "AMDRyzenMasterDriverV13" in the registry but all I see is "AMDRyzenMasterDriver" and "AMDRyzenMasterDriverV17"

I updated my driver for AMD Ryzen Master and now I am getting the Driver not installed properly error message. I am using an MSI B450 gaming plus MOBO, latest chipsets are installed. I also ensured all my windows updates are complete. I am not sure what the issue is, tried opening registry editor as well and deleting all the folders.
I ran into this issue awhile back and this previous Reddit post helped me with it regarding the registry having more than one RyzenMasterDriver entries.
It seems like V13 is the offending entry, so if you have it in the registry and you delete it, this might help.
Use Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) or amd driver cleaner to remove your gpu drivers. Manually set windows update to ignore driver updates or use DDU setting. I wouldn't muck with the registry and hope you kept a backup in case of error. Reinstall AMD radeon software. I wouldn't use AMD Ryzen Master but if you absolutely need it reinstall last. I find MSI Afterburner more stable and does everything I need in addition to radeon. If that version causes problems go back to an older one.

Steps to solve:
-run regedit
-go to "Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Services\AMDRyzenMasterDriver"
(note that this driver don't have the versione specified"
-edit "imagePath"
-delete the double question marks present on the beginning of the string.
-reboot

Download the utility and follow the 'having problems uninstalling' setting and then select Ryzen Master, once this is done you should be able to install the newest drivers
PS: you cant find the drivers in the guide because they are to old, most likely you never installed that version, try this fix I linked first

Just upgraded from a 1600AF to 5800x. Now I'm getting this error. I have done uninstalling and deleting the old stuff in regedit. I have installed the newest AMD chipset software. Don't know what to do next.

Hello, I'm sorry for posting about a problem where there are many threads already, but none of the fixes in those threads worked for me.
Problem:
I installed and run Ryzen Master and get a popup box that says:
"Ryzen Master Driver not Installed properly
Driver Not installed!"
What I've tried:
One thread said to go to REGEDIT and delete the AMDRyzenMasterDriverv13...except I don't have a v13 or a v14, I have a basic AMDRyzenMasterDriver folder. I'm not sure I want to delete it.
I have tried uninstalling the app, rebooting, installing the app, and rebooting again. That seemed to work for some people, but it did not work for me.
I updated the AMD Chipset Driver through the website to the latest versions.
What I suspect caused it:
I read somewhere that BIOS changes can mess with Ryzen Master. I updated by BIOS not just once, but three times (it's been awhile) after I switched out by bum PSU.
Most of the tutorials date back to 2019 or so and I haven't been able to find any fixes that help. I would prefer not to have to reinstall Windows 10 over this. Thanks.
Edit - How I fixed it:
Fixing it was a real pain. I went ahead and made sure everything was up to date (down to re-installing the AMD chipset drivers). Then I went into REGEDIT and deleted the only AMDRyzenMasterDriver that was there (there was no V## behind it), then I uninstalled Ryzen Master and rebooted. Once rebooted, I re-installed Ryzen Master, rebooted again, and it magically started working again. Hope this helps.
Ok so I had this problem when I installed my 3700x today. All I did was uninstall all chipset software and Ryzen master reinstall chipset the Ryzen master and it works perfectly. You don't need to start editing the registry .
