No but you can in BIOS. PBO -> Advanced and scroll down should be the last option. Answer from Kellz1 on reddit.com

AMD Ryzen 5000 (5950X) - Raise maximum temperature - CPUs, Motherboards, and Memory - Linus Tech Tips
November 27, 2023 - Hello everyone 🙂 As the title suggests, and against all intuition, I would like to know if there's a way to increase the maximum achievable temperature on the Ryzen 5000 platform. I have an Asus Crosshair 8 with a Ryzen 9 5950X, cooled by an EKWB Nucleus CR360 AiO.

Are Ryzen Master temps accurate? - Quora
Answer: Depends who you trust. Ryzen Master is currently reporting my CPU at idle clocks (most cores are inactive with 2 at 600MHz) and using about 0.6v with temps of 40c. HWMonitor (a highly regarded monitoring app) is currently reporting all core boost to 4.2GHz, voltage is 1.2v pinned and te...

r/ryzen on Reddit: Any Risk with Ryzen Master temp limit?
October 18, 2024 -

I have a 7700x, this thing will go to 95c running Minecraft with 16+ chunks. I use Ryzen Master to set a temperature limit of 80c, but I was wondering if I go any lower will that risk a Windows crash or anything? Or will it only decrease MHz?

I don't want to hear any "I don't suggest doing that because you're not getting the most out of your CPU" I already know that very well, I just want to know if there's any OPERATING SYSTEM stability risks with lowering it to, let's just say, 65c while playing the--extremely cpu intensive--game?

Question - Ryzen 5 3600 Not observing BIOS Temperature limits | Tom's Hardware Forum
September 16, 2023 - Temps in Prime95 are not so alarming but since i set CPU temp limit in BIOS to 80 i should get some thermal throttling but the CPU just keeps giving max perf. Temps in Ryzen Master build-in stress test are kinda concerning I saw another post with the same topic trying to google this issue but it seems like it was a MSI Game boost related issue which could not be my case since im on ASUS Mobo.

May 19, 2026 - The same goes for the Max Temperature setting, which lets you choose the maximum temp your CPU is allowed to reach before thermal throttling. Since the Curve Optimizer is already helping with thermal efficiency, there is no need to set a Max Temperature. And besides, modern Ryzen CPUs are built to run constantly at their maximum rated temperature.

Control the temps of your AMD Ryzen 7000-series CPU with ASUS-exclusive PBO Enhancement - Edge Up
October 7, 2022 - During everyday operation, light workloads, and while playing most games, you’ll typically see much lower CPU temperatures. However, we know that many power users out there will take advantage of all the cores and threads of their new Ryzen CPU, and they’ll do it on a regular basis. Our updated PBO Enhancement BIOS feature makes it easy to limit the temperatures you’ll see with your new Ryzen CPU in heavily threaded workloads.
