OK so I had this problem with the New Ryzen Master Update (Update: (2.8.0.1937)).
Since I cant find any other solution online except to reset the CMOS, or the usual "just reinstall it bro", I have tried and reinstalled the older Version of Ryzen Master.
The Link to the Older Version (Version (2.1.1.1472)):https://amd-ryzen-master.software.informer.com/versions/
NOTE: Download the 2.1 Version from 2 Dec 2019
NOTE: I know that you dont have all the new features and the other fancy updates, but at least the version does what it is supposed to do.
And unless you really need the new UI or the other Updates I would recommend using the older Version.
Found this on a reddit post somewhere. Basically, many users, especially those with Zen 3 and below chips, can't start RM ever since updating to Windows 11 22H2 for some reason. Even AMD hasn't bothered issuing a fix nor have they notified Microsoft about it so that they can initiate the fix (or they did, but MS hasn't done anything yet), but this reg edit should do the trick for the meantime.
- Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\CI\Config
-
Change the value of "VulnerableDriverBlocklistEnable" from 1 to 0
-
Restart PC
Edit: Seems that Microsoft's Driver Block List security feature is mistakenly flagging RM so it prevents it from running. What the reg edit does is disable this security feature to allow these mistakenly flagged drivers to run.
Edit 2: AMD has acknowledged its RM drivers having security flaws, thus, it getting flagged by MS. When Ryzen Master does get patched, please revert the suggested registry fix so that you don't compromise your system's integrity.
