Android phones that last a long time?
Am I the only one disappointed with the Galaxy S21 Ultra?
I was slightly disappointed by the camera at first too, but the updates pretty much solved the issues I had. For fast moving objects, you can use pro mode and use a faster shutter speed. It will get rid of that blurryness.
I don't have any issues with software navigation, I guess it's just a matter of personal preference.
I use WQHD+ and 120hz and I've never had an issue with the battery life. Couldn't say the same for the Note 8 I had before this, it was permanently on power saving mode.
I used to have minor heating issues when putting the phone under load (I live in a hot area), but I got the June update a few days ago and the phone has been completely cool ever since. This is the snapdragon version btw.
My only gripe with using this phone is Instagram's buggyness and I guess that's something Facebook needs to fix, not Samsung.

Now obviously they have a battery. They can't last a lifetime unless you switch them once they can't hold a charge anymore.
So with this in mind. Have you ever had a phone that lasted a long time without having to replace the battery or I shouldn't be looking at Android phones if I want it to last a long time? I'm talking about 7+ years here.
I usually just purchase a refurbished or used phone every 2-3 years for $200ish. The s25 is tempting me with its holiday deals but I don't know if it's the best value. High camera quality, mainly video, is the most important feature to me.
It seems like they usually go down in value by $100 each year. I wonder at that point if it's worth it to get a new phone now then anyway as it ends up being about the same cost.
Why I want to upgrade: Camera quality is decent but not the best, the battery has been dying faster, more storage would be useful(128gb currently).
I definitely prefer a smaller form factor in a phone. The ultras seem too big for me. Though if they're better value I might compromise.
