I’m still searching for a fluffy down alternative comforter. My husband is allergic to down so unfortunately down is not an option. We had Nestwell down alternative comforters for our beach house and LOVE them but unfortunately Bed, Bath and Beyond no longer has them available and I am not interested in buying second hand or from a random person on eBay.
Has anyone have any experience with Saatva comforters? The picture is very enticing but the price is kinda high for down alternative. Any input is greatly appreciated.
My wife and I just finished grad school and are looking to upgrade our bedding. We’ve been using hand-me-downs for years. I’ve done a bit of research and landed on the saatva organic sateen sheet set and the all-year down alternative comforter. Does anyone have experience with this brand or alternative recommendations?
Hi guys!
I'm about to move and planning to buy some bedding for my new home. But all those reviews wirecutters, sleep foundations, youtube, Reddit.. are giving very confusing suggestions. I looked through Cuddledown, parachute, Brookline, Rily(they are out of stock), Quince, Saatva, Roll& Branch, Cozy earth..., I even checked out frette...omg
I want to buy a duvet/comforter, a duvet cover, and a sheet set. Do you guys have any personal experiences with those brands that are worth recommending?
Thank YOU SO MUCH!!!!!
rn I have a bedsure lightweight duvet insert, polyester shell and filling. I tried a silk filled duvet to see if I would like it better and I absolutely hated how it clung to my body, so I now realize that down alternative is my fill of choice. I'm considering a new comforter because 1. I have a full size but think a queen duvet might look a little better and 2. I'm wondering if some comforters might sleep a little cooler without having zero loft. But I've been comparing all sorts of brands in the <$200 range and wondering if there's even a major difference or if I should just save my money on a nicer cover?
ETA: right now the options I'm looking at are quince premium down alternative, pottery barn recycled down alternative, or just keeping an eye out at homegoods/tj maxx etc for a deal on something with a cotton shell. I was also looking at saatva's down alternative, but that would be a bit of a splurge for me and I wanna make sure I can return it if I'm not happy with it... am also open to real down but a little conflicted about it as a vegetarian (more sustainable though) and also a little apprehensive when I read about people saying they get feathers and dust everywhere
Just as the title says basically. I’m trying to find a comforter that doesn’t have any polyester at all. I thought I found it with Saatva but saw this on the tag… I’m a hot sleeper but like some weight on me too, any recommendations would be appreciated. Open to down alternative as well. Thanks everyone
I’m looking for a comforter to keep me warm through Michigan winters! Everything I’ve tried falls flat (literally), I want a huge, fluffy, almost overstuffed comforter that will last!
Someone told me to try putting a king comforter into my queen duvet for a fluffier look. Didn’t work— it just bunched up at the bottom. So I’m back on the hunt!! Please drop your recommendations below!
My anxiety is getting the best of and I feel overwhelmed. Trying to stay away from Mattress Firm stores or similar. Is the Saatva c classic worth the money? It’s just me on my bed. Thinking of the queen over king, luxury firm with adjustable pro base. I’m male, bigger body at 6ft2 about 230 pounds. Combo sleeper. Thank you for all of your help.
