Is all this green a trend? I am loving the pics of sage cabinets but I don’t want to look back in a few years and wish I had chosen something less fleeting

Sage cabinets, too trendy?

I know I should do my kitchen the way I want regardless of trends or outside opinions but I am looking to see if people think this will stick around or if it looks tacky. Navy blue had a very brief moment in interiors a few years ago and I can’t stand how it looks now even though I thought it looked cool at the time.
Hi There, I am in the midst of remodeling my kitchen, I went with Catalina meadow green cabinets from RTA store and almost have them all installed so need to pick a counter.

Most people with sage green cabinets seem to go for predominantly white counters, also I think butcher block looks great. However I am leaning towards doing a mostly black counter. I am wondering what type of black counter folks think would look good with this cabinet. Bonus points for backsplash suggestions too. I found some nice slabs at MSI Denver, including Agatha black, silver waves, and titanium that I am consider. Florida waves looks nice too for a white / cream one. Titanium is maybe a little too loud for small kitchen. Am I crazy for wanting to go Agatha black here?? Thank you all pictures coming below.
