A few months ago I purchased my first Sam’s Club membership, but I’ve rarely used it. However, in the next month or two, I’ll need to travel across the country and seen something somewhere about Sam’s Club members having access to travel discounts.
The last post on this that I could find in this subreddit is from 3 years ago, so looking for updated info.
Rental Cars? Airfare? Restaurants?
Hotels? I have a Hilton Honors account and I use Expedia, like most people. If there are any better discounts available to Sam’s club members, I’m open to hearing about those, too.
What type of Sam’s Club travel discounts are available to those of us with a membership?

Just compare a trip with Expefia and Sam's. I did exactly this with my Costco membership and Costco came out cheaper. I actually did compare Sam's and Costco and Costco was still cheaper Yes - i have both memberships - based on my business needs.

I'm right there with you. They have a hotel quite a bit cheaper for my upcoming trip but it almost seems too good to be true. Worried I'll get there and have a ton of extra fees.

General update - I took the chance and booked one night for a friends wedding in NYC, no issues whatsoever so definitely legit!

Just got an email that now the Sam's Club MasterCard is eligible for SimplyMiles for American Airlines.
There are some hoops as you have to activate offers but it's something. Looking at the list of offers, I'll gain exactly 0 points from everything on the list.

I just looked at the SimplyMiles website. It says that you can register using any MasterCard.

Beware - Sam's Club credit card by Synchrony is NOT good for travel protections (eg. car rental coverage, cancellations, ...) - these Mastercard protections are only offered from bank credit cards (eg. Barclays, CapOne, ...), but NOT Synchrony, even though they label the card "World Elite Mastercard", you will NOT get the suite of travel benefits traditionally found under 'world elite' Mastercard's. I was told directly by Mastercard that many of the 'partner cards' - Sam's, Cabela's, ... - do not 'pass through' the travel suite benefits, so steer away from using Sam's Club credit card for travel, instead use your bank's Mastercard like Capital One. Hopefully this personal discovery helps others. :(
