Hey guys. My car is going to be at the shop for about a week. I was wondering if anybody on here has used the hertz rental service before and if they thought it was good or if anybody has gotten better deals somewhere else?

Sorry if this has already been discusses but everything I found was more focused on the "in-store" differences. What I'm looking for is the differences in the "out-of-store" benefits. For example I've heard about the insurance and travel discounts with costco but can't really find any hard numbers on these. Does anyone have any good examples of the discounts and how they compare with Sam's club?

Okay guys, is Sam’s club or Costco worth it? I am wanting to get one but don’t know which. Leaning towards Sam club since it’s more affordable but unsure. Does anyone know if Sam’s club here carries Synergy Kombucha?

What are your pros and cons..

Today I went to Sam’s to get battery change and they put either wrong battery or put it wrong way and tried to turn on car and I think it fried my car. They ask me to tow it and take it to dealership. It will need servicing. Like I drove well good car and I’m towing it away from Sam’s.

Edit: Thank you all for the ideas, I went in last week to speak with manager after my car was fixed. The manager took all the bills and created a work order. I just got an email from claims service for address and date of birth information, within 10 minutes after sending my information, I got email confirmation to reimburse me for all my chrages. With towing, car repair, rental and all the uber changes, it came to little over $1400.

Also they blew the battery fuse on my car if anyone was wondering. They gave me the old fuse, one of the attachment was completly melted lol. Mechanic said it was due to incorrect battery installation.

Which is better in the DFW area?

I’ve previously had a Costco membership which I got for free while driving for Uber Eats during college. Only used it for the food court and gas, since I avoided big purchases.

Now I live in Lewisville super close to a Costco(6mins) and a Sam club(14mins) off the highway. So was wondering which would generally be a better option. I generally still avoid super big purchases, but the Costco brand in my mind resonates more with quality, and i have always found the ones in dallas to be pretty good with diverse products. Have no experience with Sam’s at all. Personally I don’t care about Scan and Go which I’ve read about. I more so care about their members mark brand and the quality of the products they carry in the DFW stores.

Also are gas prices different? Does Costco have better gas? I buy premium for my car who whichever is better or cheaper would be a bonus.

Edit: Also I think Sam’s is doing a $25 membership special? Saw it yesterday but can’t seem to find it on their page today.
