Yes—most of our fuel stations are restricted to “Members Only”, and you must have a valid Membership to purchase fuel. However, a small number of our fuel stations are also open to the general public. These locations are either co-located with a Walmart Store or are required by law to be open for public use. At these stations we offer a .05¢ discount for Members and Walmart+ users with the exception of New Jersey which does not allow the discounting of fuel for Membership. Learn more here.

I'm sure this has been asked thousands of times but why dont they just leave the pumps on? Seems like it would ease congestion. I read on the costco sub that they "just dont want to" which kinda seems like a middle finger to the customers

One of the managers told our day shift gas attendant that. Apparently starting in August or September the gas station will stay open till 10pm. Instead of 9pm and I wonder how true it us. Obviously it won't affect dayshift hours who work 6-2, but the night shift would change 2-10 I assume. Has anyone else been told about this or heard a rumor of it. The gas station has always been an hour behind the store. Does that mean the store will change hours too? I really hope it doesn't change. Getting off at 9pm isn't ideal but it's not to bad for me. 10pm would lowkey suck though.

Costco announced it is extending gas hours until 10 p.m. on weekdays. It makes sense that Sam's would match those hours. I don't think Costco store hours changed, so Sam's will probably also stay the same.

They added 2 hours per day. So it opens an hour early and closes an hour late. I'm not sure how common this is, but our head count for fuel is 2 FT and 1 PT. With the 20 hours average they want PT to have, thats 100 hours per week, when 5am-10p is 17 per day mon-sat (102 hours) plus 8-7 on Sun making a total of 113 hours with 100 hours of associates... I truly hope they up our headcount. As is, we are already screwed when one of them takes vacation (or more than 2 PTO in the same week).
