Hey guys my Club membership is about to expire at the end of the year. It's a membership I got from being added to my Uncle's account. So it was free until now. The renewal is $50. Are there any discounts anywhere for this? That's a lot of money for me and I don't go to Sam's many times during the year.

Your membership has to be expired 6 months or more before you can open another membership in your name. And when you do you can’t use the same email you had on your previous account. Because the email will kick it back to your old membership.

I can’t find anywhere in the app where I can change my plus account to a lower tier (can’t afford plus anymore). I want to use my Sam’s cash to do this but it will only allow me to apply it to my currently active plus account.

I'd say go to your local club and you can cash out your sams cash and then downgrade to Club.

Not sure if you know this, but you can use a new email to signup for the plus tier for like 70 bucks. That’s what I do every year it expires for me lol new account with new email
