When upgrading at Sam's Club or Costco do they confirm what promo code is being applied?

I was attempting to upgrade today and the kiosk said they can't confirm or apply promo codes and that they are automatically done.

None of the documents they wanted me to sign had a promo code or any indication of a trade in.

I didn't really get the warm and fuzzies from that.

I was a complimentary member on my ex BF membership which expired last month. I was trying to sign up for the 40% discount Plus membership but they said being my name was listed under his, I have to wait the 6 months. Can I use my moms name but use my credit card info to pay?

Sams club gives a discount for a 1st time member. $20 for a year membership.

Every year I sign up with a "new" email, [email protected]. Add a + after your email username for Google and it is a new email which still emails to your email so you don't have to create a new email for this or anything else.

It's only good for another year and three quarters.

They had a sign that you can Save $10 with $10 minimum purchase with Scan Go. Just ask Member Services.

They added something to the scan/go cart to where $10 discount is auto-applied

Ported over 1 line from Verizon to TMobile. Went with the Experience More plan. Was told by the Sam’s Club rep I would get the following promos

1. iPhone 17 free via monthly bill credits. No trade in required

2. $200 prepaid gift card for porting in.

3. $210 in Sam’s Club gift cards for having a Sam’s Plus Membership.

She gave us the promotions.tmobile.com website and said we would have to submit it. But did not give us any promo codes to submit. Anyone able to help clarify or clear up what we need to submit?

I've shopped here once and it said instant savings on my receipt is there something I can do to clip my coupons

I haven't shopped at Sam's Club for around 5 years. The last time I had a membership it was the plus version.

So recently (as of October 19, 2025) they started offering a promotion for NEW members to join. $15 for the regular membership and $50 for the Plus membership.

However it also that the discount is available for those whose membership have lapsed for 6+ months. I haven't had an active membership since 2020!

So I call ahead of time to make sure that I qualify and the person on the phone said yes but I would have to physically go to the store. Fine. I get to the store and now none of the associates can reactivate my membership with the discount.

Now they told me I would have to call Sam's Club so they can release my email and phone number from my account. Fine. But I want to call them in the store so I don't get home and get the run around.

Glad I did because even Sam's Club support said that I can't take advantage of the deal unless I have a new phone number.

In the end, I had to create a BRAND NEW account with a different email address and now my old account will just continue existing inactive? Can I even delete it? Why does it say that inactive memberships of 6+ months are eligible if that's not the case?

All I wanted to do was reactive my membership that has been inactive for 5 years. I wanted to activate it with the special promotion. But I could not. Why?

Basically, if a person that has ever had a Sam's Club membership wants to take advantage of the membership deal, they can't. They must make a BRAND NEW account. Even if their current account has not been active for years!

Anyone know what the current Sam's promotion code number is? They have me a QRcode with 240003 which is for $150 Sam's gift card and not the $200.

Did the process change for the $75 sams gift card with financed phone upgrade? I traded in 2 phones 2 months ago and had to go to promotions.tmobile.com and enter promo code 250006. I trade another phone in yesterday 7/26 and the store said it was now automatic and this time asked for my sams member number when doing the transaction. Also I see my previous 2 said the promo went from 1/9/25 to 7/23/25 but the sams site still shows the $75 offer is in place.

I was just thinking ... so if you've been a loyal member, for years, you pay full price, no renewal discount, but new members get a membership for $25, lol...

Can someone tell me which offers can actually be combined with Keep and Switch at Sam’s club? The store employee told me the $200 tmobile gift card and $150 Sam’s club gift card would apply with Byod port from AT&T but T force on twitter told me neither and only a $75 Sam’s club gift card would apply with Keep and switch. The t mobile kiosk at Sam’s didn’t have the promo ads or fine print up since they just opened and the employee lied bc it’s contradicts what tforce on twitter told me. Tforce was the one to send me this link to Sam’s club t mobile offers https://www.samsclub.com/content/tmobile and said I’d get $75 Sam’s gift card for Byod port in along with keep and switch but I don’t see that anywhere on the fine print on the website. Can someone tell me what actually combines and works before I get bait and switched afterwards? The site has no mention of the $75 Sam’s card though tforce mentioned it and the store rep was not helpful/trustworthy.

Recently returned something at BJs and the manager doing the return asks why I am not club+ or whatever they call it. I said I'm not interested, and she said there was a special and it was cheap if I did it through the end of the year. I said I really didn't think it was worth the price so she said take my membership off auto renew and come to the counter when it's time to renew and they usually can discount the upgraded membership. I did and instead of $110 they did it for $70.

Any way to get Plus at Sam's club cheaper? If I can help an employee at the same time I'd do it gladly but it's just not worth the full price. I might even get the credit card, but really don't want to pay the full membership price. Any thoughts?
