I had Sams club membership a few years ago but didn’t bother renewing it because I switched to Costco.
I am not very happy with Costco and want to switch back to Sams.
Found out recently that Synchrony closed my account, nor was I ever notified about it.
Can this come back to bite me if I try to reactivate my membership and a Sams club credit card with Synchrony? Or can I call synchrony to reactivate my old card and then I can renew my membership?

This is par for the course with both the Costco and Sam’s Club credit cards. If you let the membership lapse, the card is automatically closed. You don’t need the credit card to become a member, though. My recommendation is, if you’re the type of person to switch back and forth like this and not renew your membership consistently year over year, don’t open another credit card with Sam’s/Synchrony. Maybe consider opening a credit card that gets a cashback or points multiplier on warehouse clubs.

Nothing's biting you, and nothing's being reactivated. What's done is done, and, as u/cajonero said, you can't have a warehouse club credit card if you don't have a warehouse club membership. If you want to rejoin Sam's Club and get a Synchrony credit card, you will apply for one and either be approved or not. Over and over and over again as you become a member and then drop your membership, for whatever reason. If you don't want to keep opening and closing the same credit card over and over again, involving a hard credit pull and the possibility of a rejection, either pick a warehouse club and stick with it, or learn to live without the credit card. I belong to both Costco and BJ's, and don't have either of their credit cards.

Once I applied/accepted for the card, it was automatically added to my Sam's club app as the primary payment. This caused me to accidentally use it and add a balance.
Now it's been 13 business days (2 1/2 weeks) and the physical card still has not been mailed. Every option for paying it off involves the physical card so I am worried that I will be charged interest because I might not receive it in time to pay off the balance by the due date.
Basically, I have 2 questions. For those who have received the Sam's Club MasterCard, about how long did it take for you to receive it in the mail? And is there any way that I can pay off the card without knowing the actual card numbers? Possibly using the membership attached to it?
Edit: I called the number provided by one of you beautiful people in the comments and was able to register my credit card account without the card numbers 😃 still no ETA on the physical card but I don't plan to use it much anyways so thank you all for your help!

You can make a payment in the app no need to have the physical card unless you wanna pay in store. Edit: open app, select account, scroll to Sam's club credit card and select it, and select manage card. Should take you to a page you can make a payment.

Relax a little. For interest to be charged you’ll need to pass the first statement date then another 25 days until the due date. You say your card hasn’t been mailed? Do you mean it hasn’t been received?
