A user on Reddit found a solution.
Turns out that gTTS works under Python 3.x, it was me that was importing the module wrong.
I was using:
import gtts
blabla = ("Spoken text")
tts = gTTS(text=blabla, lang='en')
tts.save("C:/test.mp3")
Resulting in the following error:
NameError: name 'gTTS' is not defined
When the correct way is:
from gtts import gTTS
blabla = ("Spoken text")
tts = gTTS(text=blabla, lang='en')
tts.save("C:/test.mp3")
The best solution for that is :
pyttsx3
Pyttsx3 is an offline cross-platform Text-to-Speech library which is compatible with both Python 3 and Python 2 and supports multiple TTS engines.
I have found it very useful and there is no delay in sound production unlike gTTS which needs internet connection to work and also has some delay.
To install :
Here is a sample code :

engine = pyttsx3.init()
engine.say("Hello this is me talking")

So I want to make twitch tts to sound like SAM (Software Automatic Mouth). There's an online browser version of it [here] but I'm trying to get like an offline program of it or something to read messages out loud. And I'm not sure how to get pre-existing tts programs to sound like it if it's possible. Some help would be nice. Please and thank you.
For offline use in Windows, use SAPI directly.
You can use SpVoice.

Have you tried using Google Text-to-Speech via gTTS?
The syntax for using it in Python 3.x is as follows:

my_tts = "Text you want to process"
tts = gTTS(text=my_tts, lang='en')
tts.save("Absolute/path/to/file.mp3")

I don't know much else to write about my problem. I found a website with the TTS but that's about it.
Does anyone know how the text-to-speech used on the Commodore, i.e. Software Automatic Mouth, or SAM, actually synthesized the voice? Did it have any sort of recorded sample data? Did it just use additive synthesis? Or formant synthesis?
There's a github of someone's port of it to C here, although many of the variables, functions, and labels are just named based on their location in memory, not their function, so it still appears a black box.
