I know the QD OLED If there’s direct line to the screen while it’s turned off you will see some purple color to it and the pixel structure layout It will be like a triangle. And I tried to take a micro picture from my iPhone 16 Pro Max and this is the picture. Is this from what you see QD OLED Or W OLED for my S90F Samsung OLED?
Hi everyone,
I have a 65 inch Samsung QLED 4K TV (Q60 series) that suddenly developed vertical colored lines on the screen. There is no crack, but the display is clearly damaged.
Samsung support initially said it may be covered under warranty, but they also mentioned the technician will decide if it is panel defect or misuse. I am preparing myself that warranty might be rejected.
I am in the UAE.
If warranty is rejected, Samsung’s paid panel replacement could be very expensive. I am trying to decide what makes the most sense financially and practically.
My questions: • Is panel replacement on a 65 inch QLED ever worth it? • What is a reasonable maximum repair cost before replacement makes more sense? • Are third party repairs reliable for QLED panels, or do they usually reduce picture quality? • Would you repair, sell as faulty, or buy a new TV?
I am okay accepting responsibility if it turns out to be my fault. I just want to make the smartest decision going forward.
Any advice or real experiences would really help. Thanks.
