Thanks for trying, but it didn't resolve my problem with Samsung AKG headphones. They appear in the device manager, but they do not appear as speakers in the speaker selection at the bottom right of the screen. It seems the device is still considered to be only a microphone and not headphones.

I use an ASUS ROG STRIX and it has only one type C port so switching ports won't work it just doesn't detect them and I have tried updating drivers but it says all of them are upto date. What do I do, the port works fine for other devices and the headphones work fine too.
I have the Samsung AKG USB C earbuds that came with my galaxy note 10+. They work great for sound ouput when plugged into my laptop. However I can't get the built in mic on the wire to work when the output is also the earbuds. For example in Discord if I set input to the Earbuds and output as Speakers, the mic works fine. But when I have both the input and output set to the Earbuds, I can't hear anything.
Has anyone been able to use their USB C earbuds for both input and output at the same time?
Edit: Okay, so I have gotten both to work at the same time by enabling Spatial Sound: dolby atmos for headphones. I saw it in another post. No idea why this makes it work but it does.
Hey everyone, So I have the Samsung galaxy s21 FE 5G and I bought a pair of usb type C earphones to grab and go when I forget to charge my buds. However when I tried it on my phone the audio wouldn't transfer onto the phone. I thought it was just the faulty earphones as I just bought it from a regular store and not the samsung store itself but when I tried it on the Samsung galaxy s20, it worked perfectly. Does anyone why?
The volume on my tab automatically goes to 0 when I connect my akg type c earphones. It has been happening since 3 days.
The same set of earphones are working fine on my samsung s20+.
