Hi, I just got a upgrade to a S24 Ultra and seeing that all of my chargers are only 15W, I decided it's time to get a new one.
So I was wondering if the 45W charger is a better investment than the standard 25W.
I did watch some videos about it and to be honest I wasn't really impressed with the 45W one but I wanted to hear your opinions too.
I've been looking at some options on Amazon and it seems like a lot of other 45W chargers - for instance Anker's 45W nano charger - don't give full 45W performance due to electronics things I don't fully get. Is there any chargers cheaper than 50 damn bucks for Samsung's charger?
Edit: Anker seems to have a new model that advertises specifically being capable of 45W charging on Samsung phones.
And I also found this cable from Monoprice that's 5A rated. From all I've looked up online, it seems the S22 Ultra didn't come with a 5A cable, and it's necessary for 45W charging, as Fast Charging 2.0 runs at 9V/5A.
Here's an article from Anker on that.
It'll probably be hard to find anything cheaper than this. I've looked at a couple of the charges recommended in the comments, and the Jsaux one for instance looks good, but it doesn't list 9v/5A in the specs, so I don't think it'll work, which is a shame because it's a very economic model.
