The Buds+ are no longer on sale. I don't recall the exact time frame, but with the Buds live being the next oldest product, it is likely to be gone within a year.
With no concrete signs we will get a Buds Live 2, if you enjoy this pair of headphones, grab an extra pair while you can.
They dropped down to $80 for Prime Day, and that's likely the lowest we will get for new condition.

They haven't been updated in a long time and Idk they might be this year. I got the samsung galaxy buds2 Pro and they were a better upgrade from buds pro. They did have the same problem where overtime my ears would get irritated and push them out of my ears. I only use for hours at a time and even workout with them. I wound up loosing my buds2 pro and now have to use buds pro again. I want to try out live because they're over the ears instead of inside.
I don't like reading articles as much as the next guy, so I decided to summarize it for you! Samsung hasn't announced the price, but they were pretty detailed as to what it has features wise:
• Active Noise Canceling and Ambient Sound • Crystal Clear Call Technology • Larger speakers with clearer highs and deeper bass (nobody has these earbuds right now as far as I know, so sound quality is subjective until it launches) • Pinch and Swipe Gestures and Blade design (same as buds3 pro, but no blade lights)
Specs:
• Battery life: 6 hours, 24 hours with case (ANC on), and 8.5 hours, 30 hours with case (ANC off) • IP54 Water Resistance • Bluetooth 5.4 • Samsungs High quality SSC Codec (UHQ Audio)
Galaxy AI: • Live Translation • Voice Commands
It'll come in a matte white with black eartips or in all matte black, and it launches on September 5th. Looks promising IMO, and the matte black looks SO good.
Bought them back in september of 2020, they are my first and only pair of wireless earbuds i've ever owned, and they're still going strong with great battery life, the ANC is amazing and so is the sound quality.
I currently have galaxy buds pro from the past 3 years which fit really really well and work perfectly too. I am thinking of upgrading to the buds 3 pro but the mixed reviews are making me uncertain whether they are good or not. I can buy them as they are on offer currently but at the same time I'm thinking of waiting for the buds 4 to come out , that is, if they come out on the January event. So should I just buy buds 3 pro even though my pros are working perfectly fine or should I wait for the buds 4 to launch and then buy that. (Also there is no exchange option available that is why I can't exchange my buds pro at a good price).
Anybody know whether if samsung is going to release an improved version of Buds Live early next year like they did with the Buds and Buds+?
Quality issues force Samsung to delay official launch until July 24th 2024 #samsunggalaxy #Samsung #Buds3Pro #Buds3 #quality
I am debating whether to buy the galaxy byds 2 pro or wait till the 3 pro comes out. Any idea as to when the galaxy buds 3 and 3 pro will launch? Will the regular 3 and 3 pro launch at the same time?
Hey peeps,
Anyone know of any news regarding the potential release of a new galaxy buds live (beans) 2? Never enjoyed and found an in ear earphone to be comfortable like the galaxy bud plus and pro. The beans are perfect at avoiding this but the ANC I heard isn't very good. Hopefully the updated version deals with this.
it likely won't have batter anc, the design is open ear and they're supposed to let noise in, the anc is only to block out some of the lower noises like an idle car or a generator, it's never going to work as well as in ear designs that create a seal
I know this is an old post but I purchased them over a month ago. And I love them. The anc isn't as good as my friends proper over the ear headphones but it definitely improves sound quality with them having anc on. Less outside noise. (Obviously I guess)
Hi all!
I'm looking to buy some wireless earbuds but almost every option has the silicone tip and I can't get used to them, it makes my ear hurt.
I'm looking for something like the galaxy buds live. Is it still worth buying them in 2023?
I'm surprised when I saw these on amazon for €60 when last year or two it was going for €170. They said it has Noise Cancelling so it really got my attention. Are there any reasons or big downsides on why the price dropped this much or it's just like that? They look modern and clean. Another question, will these connect to other phone brands like me I don't have a Samsung phone (I use a Realme GT2) are these exclusives for samsung phones or can I use them for other phone brands?
I will say about the ending, Samsung does not promise that everything will be as it should be with other brands, but I have them together with Pixel 6A, and apart from Auto Switch everything is the same as on my tab S7fe, And old phone (A70)
The main thing to consider when using them with another phone, is whether that phone supports the AAC codec. And the Realme GT2 does, so they should sound great.
But you shouldn't buy the Lives for ANC. They do not create a firm seal, which is a selling point, IMO. But because of that, the ANC just can't be that effective.
I think the Buds Live are a steal at $60. My favorite headphones by far. Just not for isolation.
I got this notification from the Samsung Shop. Would this be the Buds 3 FE or Buds 4?
I got a pair of Samsung galaxy buds lives in 2021 for free when I bought a Samsung phone.
I have small ears and in-ear earbuds don't fit well in my ears. I prefer open ear buds anyway because I don't like being fully enclosed.
My pair of buds live have now stopped working after being dropped 10+ times over the past 3 years and they have mild water damage. They fit well in my ears, but they're hard to get now.
I found a seller on ebay who agreed to sell a pair of new, sealed buds live for £70 (£65+£5 delivery). But I'm not sure if it's worth buying.
I don't really like the "stems" on many earbuds now, but I'm sure I'll get used to them. I decided to look around at newer earbuds because in 3 years surely earbud technology has progressed.
The Samsung buds 3 have mixed reviews but I can get them for around £110 - not sure if it's worth getting or wait to get buds 4 next year. I know the noise cancelling will be miles ahead of the buds lives, but the sound quality has mixed reviews and some people say they're not worth the price. I've also seen the Huawei freebuds se 2 have great reviews for a £40 earbud.
Can anyone offer any advice on what I should do? Any good recommendations for open earbuds unders £120?
