May 29, 2024 - I have been impressed with the Galaxy Watch 4. It’s packed with health features, some I used a lot others not so much but still all of them are nice to have on there. I think that the biggest thing for me with this watch is the design, I really like having a circular watch especially after wearing an Apple Watch for several years. One thing that I would like to point out is that to really get the most out of this watch it’s best to have it paired with a Samsung Phone.

You can even install gboard for typing and it actually works really great. ... This is only my second electronic watch. My first one was an older Fossil that I got for a low price. That watch was alright for what it was and how much I paid but I wanted to upgrade. I was going to get the GW3 but got a good deal for the GW4 Classic 46mm.

September 27, 2021 - Samsung's watch can give you a ton of data and that's really cool. It might make someone super happy, but similar to why I didn't love the Whoop Fitness Tracker, the Watch 4 can feel like too much. And I don't think I'd want to pay the extra cash for a top of the line product in order to feel inundated. One of the obvious selling points of any smartwatch is having an extension of your phone and computer on your wrist. In that sense, the Galaxy Watch 4 succeeds.

July 21, 2021 - Really good to be using Gpay instead of the quirky Samsung Pay Plus. And having Google Keep Notes on the watch is useful. September 10, 2024 - I'm confident this update will come through, because the Galaxy Watch 4 is the first Samsung watch to run Google's WearOS software in a while—this development was announced earlier this year as Samsung and Google have officially teamed up to try to take on the Apple Watch. But as of right now, not having Google Assistant is a flaw and keeps the experience from matching the Apple Watch completely. ... It is unusual for a review to not mention a device's hardware and design until this far down the review, but I feel the improved functionality of the watch was more important for those seeking an Apple Watch alternative.

The Galaxy Watch4 has an array of health and fitness tracking features you'd expect from a premium smartwatch, including workout tracking, heart rate monitoring, blood pressure measuring, an ECG feature, sleep tracking, blood oxygen measuring, and stress tracking. The Galaxy Watch 4 is always ready to record a workout session, which can cause some issues.
