Is the samsung 6 watch capatible with the samsung 21s phone?
will watch connect to a Kyocera Duraforce 3
My elderly father needs a smartwatch that works with his Samsung phone and provides medical assistance features, including medical alerts. Which watch and phone combination would be best for this?
Dilemma: whether to take the Galaxy Watch 7 (44mm) or the Galaxy Watch 6 classic (47mm). The operator offers me the first for $16.58 per month and the second for $11.98 per month in addition to the existing subscription of $15$ for my SIM card.
Update: I've been wearing the Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2 for five years now, so whichever one I get will be a WOW moment. Although I'm leaning more towards the 7 because I've never used a bezel. Although 6 seems like a class. I'll have to go to the store to see it in person. Thanks everyone for the tips!
Final update: I went to the provider branch and looked at the watches, and I have to admit I was blown away by the 6 classic 47mm. The bezel is a really cool addition, so I chose that one. Thanks again, everyone, for the tips!
Attached are four screenshots of my battery life on the Galaxy Watch 6 44mm ("2 days used" screenshot is from 9/11, while "2 d 2 h used" screenshot is from today, 9/15). I originally bought the Watch 6 Classic 43mm AND 47mm in silver to try out at home (posted pics and vids before), but then ultimately decided that the 43mm size looked too small and the 47mm size looked too big on my wrist unfortunately. The 44mm size is perfect for me. I have 7.5in. wrists. I've had the Watch 4 44mm for a little over a year and a half and really came to love it. I used it all the time for fitness tracking, sleep and had it on all the time. That watch went through hell with me and was pretty banged up, but still looked great to the naked eye. It really was a great watch for me.
I decided to get the Watch 6 44mm in black, have had it for 18 days now and I have to say, I absolutely LOVE IT. Here are two separate battery periods for my usage. One time, I went 48 hours on a single charge. The second time, I was able to go 50 hours on a single charge. There was still juice left! I have attached screenshots of my usage in this post. I keep AOD on all day (it's a watch after all), have continuous HR tracking on, use sleep tracking, and get multiple workouts in during those 2 days (for both, 48 and 50 hour periods). I also use Google Assistant a lot cause it's so handy and also use the watch sometimes for alarms. Typically, I find that my watch charges/gains 54% to 55% in 30 mins, beating the "45% charge in 30 mins" claim from Samsung. I love how slim and sleek the black looks (it goes with pretty much any outfit), the screen feels massive and is a pleasure to look at, and it honestly is a big upgrade for me from the Watch 4 44mm. I don't know, something about the rotating bezel NOT being there makes it feel so satisfying on the wrist. But I loved having the rotating bezel when I tried the Watch 6 Classic haha, just the size/look on my wrist was a killer 😭 I also had the Watch 4 44mm in black (got it for 30 bucks after using $200 of trade-in credit on the Shop Samsung app while pre-ordering my S22 Ultra, the watch then was $230 so it was a pretty sweet deal).
I did like the Watch 6 47mm in silver A LOT. It's a beautiful watch that really was an eyecatcher. But I have to say, something about having no bezels on the Watch 6 44mm makes it feel so nice and it looks beautiful to me. I cannot get over how sleek it looks. I have it with the black fabric band and I absolutely love it. I know the battery life is not as good as the battery on the Watch 5 Pro (I never owned that watch), but I don't mind the charging because I work from home and am home pretty much all the time. Plus a 361mAh battery on the Watch 4 44mm vs. a 425mAh battery on the Watch 6 44mm was a no-brainer for me. I just wanted to share my thoughts with you all. I am very, very happy with this watch. As a bonus, I got an additional "lucky day discount" on the Shop Samsung app (on top of the $100 trade-in discount for my Watch 4 44mm), so I paid just over $150 bucks.
Great job on this watch, Samsung!
Please let me know about your battery life if you have either the Watch 6 or Watch 6 Classic (whatever size). I love to hear the experience other people get with the same/similar product that I have.
Thanks in advance for all of your input, I really enjoy reading all of it! :)
I plan on picking up a Galaxy Watch 6 during Samsung's Black Friday deals. But I'm really torn between the GW6 44mm and GW6 Classic 43mm. I can't do the larger 47mm Classic, I just don't have any interest in a watch that big and gaudy.
Samsung seems to indicate that the battery life is the same across the whole lineup but the GW6 44mm does have a larger battery than the GW6 Classic 43mm so I would have to think the battery life should be better on the GW6 44mm. And battery life is an important feature to me. On the other hand I do prefer the looks of the G46 Classic.
I can't seem to find any real comparison on battery life between those two particular versions of the watch and I'm really, really torn on which one I should go with.
Any insight would me greatly appreciated. TIA!
