The GW6 Classic 47mm is WAY more appealing if you like a traditional round diver-style watch. The rotating bezel is a game changer for me as well. Plus, for me personally, I can still use my Watchmaker app that I used to design around 50-60 watchfaces. You can't use either Watchmaker or Facer on any GW7 watch as of December '24... I'm personally not a fan of the bezel-less versions any of the Galaxy watches. They look too-sleek and don't have a traditional watch look to me. I'm definitely not a fan of the GW7 Ultra either. To me it's a terrible design with it's round face on a squarish body. It honestly looks like Samsung was try to copy Apple's Ultra (yes, I know Samsung had a similar smaller version of this squarish design years ago, and they've had totally square watches as well), but couldn't dedicate engineering time to design a squarish face... The better battery life and upgraded processor and RAM are the only redemption points of the GW7s to me personally. Choose wisely, best of luck. More on reddit.com

Perhaps this is just my watch but it is surprisingly slow and laggy. The bezel does not work as smoothly as previously on the watch 4 or gear sport. I feel there is less love for the bezel from Samsung - there are no new features that make use of it. On the gear sport it was perfect for navigating the app menu, but now less so. That said, it is a great looking watch and functions really well overall. More on reddit.com

I'm about to pull the trigger on a new galaxy watch 6 classic. Is it a worthwhile purchase considering I have no smart watch currently. It's cheaper than a 7 and my work is arduous at times so the harder wearing steel design would likely be preferable. I'd be pairing it with an s24 ultra. Any thoughts most welcome

I wore a Watch 4 until 2025 and would have kept it longer if the battery didn't die and I didn't break the sensors trying to replace the battery myself. LOL. I upgraded to a Watch 6 classic 47mm and it's very good paired to my S24U.

I am considering upgrading to the GW6 classic from GW5. Mainly due to I like the looks of the classic. I see people complaining about battery on GW6 is not that great. Today I get about a day and half out of GW5 which has met my expectations.
What are the main gripes/complaints with people using GW6 classic? I want to think about what people don't like...potential gotchas. GW5 for me is fine...a little slow at times and sometimes I get the battery overheating issues. Share any complaints problems with the GW6 classic please? I should mention I will use the LTE version, but 99% of the time will be near my phone using BT.

I've had a 4, 5, and now a 6 Classic. There's literally not one thing I'd change about my 6. I monitor am day, and depend on it at the gym. I'm recharging every 1.5 to 2 days with zero issues. I don't know why people are having "battery issues," but I'm sure as hell not. Out of the 3 Galaxy watches I own, the 6 is my standalone favorite. No regerts. 🙃
