Anyone have Samsung pay working (non root)?
I was able to just sideload the Samsung pay app for the gearS3 instead. Let me find the link..
Edit:
See if this works

Should be able to load this apk on your phone and then have the Samsung pay present on the gear app for you to transfer to your watch. Good luck!

If it is blocked in your country then most probably you will not be able to add your debit/ credit card on the app which is the main feature

Hi,
Have the exact same issue as you, but on an Gear S3 Frontier. I posted a question in the Samsung support forum, on Reddit, heck, even called Samsung Pay support.
It most probably won't work on imported devices. Why? Because the security token is different inbetween these markets. I know - sucks really hard - I'm also frustrated.
I bought my Gear S3 in the UK, not working in Sweden.

What's the file size of Samsung Wallet (Samsung Pay)?
Why can't I install Samsung Wallet (Samsung Pay)?
Hello!
I have an S10e (SM-G9700) imported from HK, I live in Spain but I wanted the SD855, so I imported it and I thought Samsung Pay wasn't going to work here so I uninstalled it, turns out it does, but I tried downloading Samsung Pay through apkmirror, but it isn't the chinese version which came with the phone and it just says connection error. So, it's there a way to find the chinese version of the apk?
Thanks!
Edit: I managed to find a solution by myself! After hours and hours of searching for stuff online and finding nothing I decided to experiment by myself. Well here goes the steps to follow (There are some that may be not necessary, but I'll write them exactly as they worked for me):
-
Establish a VPN connection with the country the phone is from (Hong Kong in my case)
-
Clear data and cache from Galaxy Store and Google Play Store
-
Remove SIM card
-
Restart the phone without SIM card
-
When the phone is restarted, re-establish the VPN with the country the phone's from
-
Browse around Galaxy Store
-
Enter this link via web (preferably from a computer): https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.samsung.android.spay&hl=en_GB
-
Click install on your device, and voilá!
I know some steps do not make a lot of sense, but I tried to recreate everything I did for it to work, because I've spent a lot of time on this, and this is the only way I managed to install it
Hope it helps someone out there!
