How to make an in-store payment with Samsung Pay?
With Samsung Pay, you can purchase things without digging through your wallet. Quick Access is the fastest way to launch Samsung Wallet and access your cards. To enable Quick Access, launch the Samsung Wallet app and then open the All tab. Tap Settings (icon on the top right), then tap Quick access, and then tap Quick access and default card. Tap your desired switch to turn it on.
1. If you enabled the Quick Access shortcut, just swipe up from the bottom of your phone display from the home screen or lock screen, or even with you screen off, to open Samsung Wallet. If you disabled Quick Access shortcuts, open the app drawer, navigate to and tap on the Samsung Wallet app icon to launch the app. Your default debit or credit card will show up on the screen. If you have multiple cards set up, simply swipe left or right to switch to the card you wish to use.
2. Authenticate using your preferred verification method. If you secured Samsung Wallet with fingerprint, simply place your finger on the sensor. Or tap on the Iris button if you have secured with it and follow on-screen guidance to scan your iris. Or just tap on the PIN button and enter your Samsung Wallet PIN.
3. Hold the back of the phone up to the contactless reader or payment terminal until it indicates payment is complete.
Note: You may be required to enter your card’s PIN on the payment terminal to authorize the payment. Be sure to use the card PIN and not the Samsung Wallet app PIN in such cases.

I added the bank account info to PayPal and then they deposited a few cents into my account to verify it then withdrew it after verification. It did give me an email saying my account was blocked and to contact Samsung support but at the same time nothing was wrong when I looked so if it’s a whole paycheck you’re trying to get direct deposit for I wouldn’t risk it

I mean it's just like any other ACH transfer. 2-3 biz days and money pops up in your account. No different than loading PayPal venmo or ApplePay Cash except they give you the added flexibility of a routing and account number. Worst case scenario if you set up an automatic deposit like a paycheck from your employer if anything happens to the deposit and it fails they'll send you a paper check by the Monday after payday. Samsung just wants to do Double duty. One up Apple and cater to the Unbanked. Only problem you could potentially run into is ATM access. Sure you can do Cash Back at WalMart and Target and the like but most of the time its 100$ or so max per transaction. And since most ATM are chip card terminals the blank card and hold phone trick wont work. Which could leave you paying exuberant ATM fees at BOA or Wells Fargo for the convenience of using their NFC enabled units

Like the title says, how do you actually add funds to that card? There's a promotion going on where you can get a $10 cashback reward if you make 2 or more purchases. I want to do the promotion but in order to do so I need funds on the card.
When I go to the 'Add Money' section, I can pick the amount but then it tells me to add a debit/credit card. When I add a card, it tells me that card is already in Samsung Pay (because it is) and then returns to that screen. If I add a card that is not in Samsung Pay, it adds successfully but then still returns to that screen.
Any suggestions?

Adter 3 months of calling with samsung customer support i have learned a few things about samsung pay cash card. The first is that funds must be added via either A. A credit or debit card with another bank, B. Direct disposit from an employer. You cannot add funds directly from a bank account. Hope this helps.

About every week lately I receive a notification in Samsung Wallet for a Sam's Club or Walmart promotion. I have checked my settings. Called customer support, cleared cache, uninstalled, and reinstalled the app.
