Getting more and more declines with Samsung pay, states "transaction declined." Card working fine when used and I am choosing credit on terminal. Happend at starbucks and discount tire in past 2 days. These are terminals without NFC or apple play as far as I know (though they do have the tap to pay credit card symbol). Happening to anyone else?

It seems to me that nfc enabled "tap to pay with eligible credit card" machines are the problem. Older swipe only machines I never have a problem with.. I have turned NFC off but I read that opening Samsung pay automatically turns NFC back on...
Curve card being declined
Hey John. Sorry it's been a few days since I've had a chance to give your suggestion a go, I've been housebound with a migrane. So I used the physical card with the pin today, which worked fine, and just tried using samsung pay to buy something in the galaxy store and it worked! I haven't had a chance to try contactless yet, but I'm going to assume that will now work also. Thank you so much for your suggestion

September 21, 2023 - However, I contacted my bank, and they said they don't see the request for verification from Samsung Wallet. There is no decline on their end for the request to add my card to Samsung Wallet. I was able to add the same card to Apple Pay after multiple failed attempts with Samsung Pay.

Anyone else had issues recently with their samsung pay? For the past few days my transactions are being declined although I have enough money in my bank account. I need to mention, I am in UK. First it started on Sumup, when I tried to pay for a taxi fare, than slowly my transactions are being declined at every shop. No idea why. I checked if the card needs re-activating, not needed. I checked if there was any notice from the app saying my bank is no longer accepted, nothing.

I had to drop my samsung wallet and go to Google wallet bc it wasn't working 80% of the time. I couldn't authorize new cards, make payments, nothing. I'm unlock my card and 30 seconds later it's locked again. Everyone I know that has or had it said they all have had problems in the last 3 months. It's a shame really
