Yes. When you make a purchase, Google Pay and Apple Pay use a device-specific number. Your physical card number is never stored on your device.
To use mobile payment, your device must be passcode-protected (pattern, password or fingerprint).
Your Desjardins card purchases through Google Pay are protected by the Visa${fnote:/content/dam/content-fragment/en/notes-legales/cartes-credit/asterisque-visa-international|*} Zero Liability, Mastercard Zero Liability Protection and Interac${fnote:/content/dam/content-fragment/en/notes-legales/transversal/077-interac|} Zero Liability policies. Do I still get cash back or BONUSDOLLARS rewards when I use mobile payment?
I’ve added my card to mobile payment, but now I see an unbilled authorized transaction of $0 on AccèsD. Why?
Ya une fonction bien spéciale dans Samsung Pay que j'ai appris v'la pas long que y'a moyen d'utiliser le paiement sans contact même avec les terminaux qui ont pas cette fonction, en utilisant un système magnétique qui agit comme la bande magnétique sur la carte de crédit. Vu que je suis limite germophobe, je manque pas une occasion d'éviter de pognasser un terminal crasseux.
Je suis avec Desjardins et puis j'essaie d'ajouter ma carte visa puis ça me dit informations invalide chaque fois que je veux l'ajouter, même si je l'ai ajouté manuellement et que toutes les informations concorde.

At launch, BMO, CIBC, Banque Nationale, Scotiabank, Desjardins, President’s Choice Financial, ATB Financial and Canadian Tire Financial Services will work with Android Pay on devices running Android KitKat 4.4 or higher. Google said support for American Express cards and Tangerine will be coming soon.
