Not always, it depends on the merchant terminal and also which credit card you used. I only use Apple Pay, however I have been able to gradually tap up to $500 on select VISAs and have made tap purchases in the $2000-$3000 on AMEX.

Has nothing to do with the services you listed. That's the contact less tap limit for all credit cards. You can use contactless payments for purchases up to a maximum of $250 for Visa, American Express and Mastercard. For Interac debit card payments, the max is typically $100. Some merchants may set lower limits. And it was raised because of covid. It was 200.

r/samsung on Reddit: Samsung Pay - 10 Card Limit
November 26, 2023 -
Hello, I wanted to get everyone's thoughts on the payment card limit that Samsung Pay has.
Currently it is limited to adding 10 cards, would it be possible for Samsung to increase that limit? Apple also had a 10 card limit until iOS 17 where that limit was lifted all together. They can theoretically have an unlimited amount of cards added to their Apple Wallet.
I'd appreciate everyone's feedback and thoughts on this, and if Samsung is able to implement this then that would be amazing.

Why need 10 cards lol

People seem to be missing the point here. OP has not asked for life-lessons on how many cards are too many cards. The 10 card limit is an artificial and arbitrary limit imposed by Samsung; even if using an 8-bit counter, an overflow won't occur till the 255th card added. (Also, as OP pointed out, Google and Apple don't have this limit) At the moment, I have 11 cards added on Samsung Pay. I remember I faced some problems while adding the 11th card, but then I had an 'Aha' moment and it was added. Now, I'm trying to add my 12th card, and for the life of me I can't figure out how I did it (which is how I got to this post). PS - Just saw that OP is from India. Cards here are not as lucrative compared to the west. Having more than 5 cards (each for different benefits/reward-points) is not uncommon.
