Samsung Pay not working with Watch5 Pro
Watch 4 samsung Pay Issues
Wallet not working after One UI 6 update on galaxy watch ultra
Am I the only one who's samsung pay works when it wants to since the latest update? It's very annoying when trying to use it and the watch just instantly times out multiple times before it actually works, but I also just had to re-add my debit and credit cards due to samsung pay not working and telling me to "contact customer service" this seems to happen every update and it's rather annoying.
Hi all hope you can help.
Whenever I try to pay my galaxy watch, I have found that I can enter Samsung pay however, following that it will not complete the payment the watch display simple goes off.
This then returns me back to the home screen then I have to redo it again. It’s noteworthy I have tried various times, in various orientations with the watch face facing me and the orientation towards the payment device.
I have used Samsung pay on the watch meaning I know it is not a user error but more likely a software issue.
I just wanted to know if anyone else has had this issue and what they have done to remedy it.
Got a Galaxy Watch 5 Pro in February this year and use Google Pay quite a lot with it.A few days ago (using London Underground) the contactless payment was rejected, so I tried the other card in my google wallet (also on watch) and it also failed. I used google pay on my phone (s23U) and it worked fine.
Has anyone else had this problem? I can't think of any settings I might have changed.
I thought it might be a bug with Google Wallet/Pay whatever it's called, so I tried using Samsung Pay again and that's also not working. The diagnostics Samsung Members app thing says the NFC is working fine.
I have tried the following suggested solutions:
-
Restarting the watch and the connected phone.
-
Ensuring that NFC is turned on, on my watch, and turning it off and back on again.
-
Deleting the cards and re-adding them from the Google Pay and Samsung Pay apps from both my phone and watch.
-
Ensuring the cards themselves are not blocked, and attempting to add different cards (none work).
-
Ensuring Google Pay and Samsung pay work with these cards on another device.
-
Ensuring that the phone, watch, google pay app, Samsung pay app and galaxy wearable app are all up to date.
-
Uninstalling and reinstalling Galaxy wearable.
-
Deleting the cache and data from Galaxy Wearable.
-
Deleting the cache and data from the Google Wallet app and Samsung Pay plugin and app.
-
Deleting the Google Wallet and Samsung Pay apps and reinstalling them (from both the phone and watch)
-
Doing a factory data reset on the watch.
Any other suggestions? Samsung support only suggest I drive to a service centre (a few hours away). When the Google Wallet contactless method fails, a message saying "that didn't work" pops up.
Encountering trouble while installing Samsung Pay/Wallet on my Galaxy Watch 4 Classic. Anybody else experiencing the same problem?
I purchased it about a month ago, but it didn't come with Samsung Pay pre-installed. samsung wallet seems to be functioning fine with my phone, but when I attempted to download 'Samsung Pay (Watch Plug-in),' it displayed a message stating that Cant open Samsung pay, Your watch may not be supported.
Ok so I just got the Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 Classic and apparently I don't have the option to setup my cards on my new watch because the error on my non samsung phone keeps showing that this watch might not be supported. I kept sending error logs hoping Samsung will fix it.
So assuming that unfortunately Samsung Wallet/Pay can only be used on Samsung Phones when pairing, what are my options now? Google Wallet isn't supporting adding cards for tap and pay for my location yet and its not known if Samsung will add the update that fixes this issue for the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic.
In addition, if you can answer it, will Galaxy Watch 8 Classic also pair with Jio Sim Postpaid if I pair it with a Non-Samsung Phone? Has anyone tested this?
