What is the difference between Samsung Certified Re-Newed phones and other refurbished/used phones?
Do Samsung Certified Re-Newed smartphones come with a warranty?
Can I buy the Samsung Care+ plan for Samsung Certified Re-Newed devices?
Was checking out the Samsun Store and saw they offer Certified Pre-Owned. They come with a year warranty and says they have been completely reassembled and tested. Samsung doesn't specify if they come with new batteries or if they maintain their IP ratings. Usually refurbished phones lose their IP ratings after being reassembled.
Checked the warranty, no mention of exclusions for water damage related to refurbished phones with IP ratings and batteries are covered if they drop below 80% health in the first year. This sounds like new batteries are put in and the IP rating is restored after re-assembly.
Anyone have any experience with Samsung's Certified Pre-Owned? Are they worth the premium versus other refurbished phones? If the IP ratings are maintained and comes with new OEM batteries, seems like it would be worth it.
I want to get the s25 ultra however its alot of money but its almost £400 cheaper if refurbished. But what does that mean? And is there a difference between refurbished and second hand?
I'm about to get another phone but I'm torn between different options, mostly due to my budget. I have the option to buy a new Samsung A55 or a used/refurbished Samsung S23FE. I'd like the S23FE because it's just better than the A55 according to what I know (except maybe the battery on A55 is better but I don't mind the 4500mmAH on S23FE too) but I can't afford a new S3FE. And I'm not sure if getting a used Samsung is a good idea.
Do you think getting a used Samsung phone is worth it or should I just go for the new A55?
My main needs (in no particular order) for the phone are:
-
Good processor, speed
-
Phone size (Not a fan of huge phones)
-
Camera quality (I take a lot of pictures and videos)
-
Good battery (Not a light or heavy user, somewhere in the middle).
I currently have a Samsung Galaxy A02 that is still going pretty neat. But, I need a second phone for work and record content (for pure fun, because I like to make mini films and take pictures of my pets)
I have a tight budget to buy this "new phone" and was thinking that maybe I could just buy a refurbished one and also help with sustainability, the thing is that I read somewhere that BackMarket was a good place to get a refurbished phone, but after reading several reviews, I'm not longer sure that is the best option.
So, could you all give me some advice where I can buy a refurbished phone?
Also, I'm not a big phone enthusiast but I'd like one with a good storage +64gb and good camera quality. I was thinking an IPhone or a Google Pixel
Hey guys, I'm considering buying a refurbished Samsung Galaxy (either S23+ or S23 Ultra). I've never bought refurbished before, so I have a few concerns:
I'm aiming for "Fair" condition and don't mind minor scratches, but I'm worried about non-OEM parts. How can I ensure the phone has original Samsung parts like the screen, camera, and fingerprint sensor?
I've read that Back Market and other refurbishers offer a 30-day return policy, which helps a bit, but I'm still nervous about potential issues.
Battery life is less of a concern since it should be around 85% or more, and I have a 25W charger.
For those experienced with refurbished phones, what tips do you have for ensuring quality and authenticity? Any experiences with the return policy that might ease my concerns?
I was looking at getting a used galaxy s21 ultra and trying to find the best place to purchase one. I saw Samsung has their own renewed section, but significantly more expensive, but better reviews then the other sources, like back market and Amazon which had about about 20% of reviews be 1 star where all of Samsung renewed's were 4 or 5. Thoughts?
