Settings appear to be correct and I've swapped out SIM cards with my wife's phone and it works in hers so I don't think it carrier related. Also, no setting for VoLTE or Wifi calling. Answer (1 of 2): There's two possible reasons I could think of for this. One is the apps usage of background data could be restricted and that could play a part in this. Second one is more technical.

August 4, 2018 - has anyone noticed that the 4G on the S10 is quite buggy? the speeds are extremely unstable, and sometimes completely unusable. (not a problem with the carrier, tried it on another phone and it's fine) What I've noticed is that if it ever goes into medium power saving, 4G will stop working completely, it'll still show 4G, and i can still make calls, but no internet connection, even after exiting power saving mode.
