Although some tvs don't support it out of the box, a few simple steps allow you to enable BT Audio.
Enter TV service mode. On new TVs (I've got a MU6290), power off the tv, and then do Mute 1 8 2 Power. You might not get it the first time, but keep trying. It requires very exact timing. You'll know you've got it when it boots and says SAMSUNG SMART TV, and then a small blue menu appears on the top left. Your TV may have a different code, available here. You can tell which code you use by looking at what buttons are on your remote.
Option -> MRT Option -> BT Support -> On
Note: it's OK if BT Address says 'Not Support' (or similar). It will appear if BT Support is turned on and the TV is restarted.Back (Return) 2x -> Engineer Option -> BT_AUDIO_ON_OFF -> ON
Restart your TV
Place your bluetooth headphones in pairing mode
Go to settings -> Sound -> Sound Output -> (Bluetooth Icon) Speaker List
Pair your headphones and enjoy!
Here are a few pictures. One quick note is that while you can adjust the volume while listening over bluetooth, you won't see a number. That's ok, just keep pressing the volume up/down button, and you're set!
edit: added link for more service mode access codes
I discovered online that my UN32M4500 Samsung smart tv supposedly supports Bluetooth. Online guides say so as well, but mine is missing the option. What gives?
As the title says, I can't decide between getting a Samsung's TV 55mu6103 vs 55mu6100 (main differences I found was the One Remote control which I don't really care much about, and having Bluetooth)
My question is, based on other user's experience, will I regret not willing to pay a bit more today to get the one with Bluetooth?
