Bought the Pioneer DMH 1770NEX about a year and change ago and unfortunately it got the white-screen issue out of warranty so just replaced it with a Kenwood. My thing is, when I bought the Pioneer I also bought this Insignia USB A to C cable for Android Auto. It worked like a charm until wear and tear (I'm assuming) causes the connection to AA to now be severed by too much phone movement. For example if I hit enough bumps in the road, or try and use the phone in my hands, off the mount.
Tried replacing the cable and literally NOTHING has worked with AA besides the original. I tried an Anker Cable, OnePlus cable, Belkin, and even a brand new exact Insignia cable. Only the original works and even then the cable needs to be shoved firm into the phone for the AA connection to begin/stick.
