There used to be multiple ways to change this 'CSC' code. When it happened to my S23 the only working free solution I found was an online tool SamFW which allows you to connect to your phone by ADB and change the CSC.

I got a very weird error when trying to set-up Samsung Wallet.
"A different version of Samsung Wallet is already installed on your phone. Uninstall it to install the Galaxy Store version and earn rewards."
I was trying to set this up for the first time since getting my phone but this error makes no sense. I searched my phone for Samsung Wallet and haven't come up with anything else. I don't see Samsung Wallet anywhere. I tried to then download it off of the Google Play store and when it tries to update, it just crashes.

The update for this issue will be available in the Samsung Store app on October 16 or 17, 2024. The fixed version number is 5.8.30, and the affected version is 5.8.05.

Same here! WARNING! DON'T UNINSTALL IT! It will not re-install after words. Now I have no SPay at all! 🤬 After getting the error. I thought maybe I got on the play store version somehow, so I uninstalled the app, and tried to reinstall from the galaxy store and received an error that the phone supports NFC but does not support MST payments. Trying to install either version after this fails. VERY ANNOYING As I now have to set it up ALL OVER AGAIN, and call my banks to get cards re-added for the 10th time.

October 4, 2025 - You can reprogram your home button to activate it on a double tap, or you can add a watch face that allows the wallet as a complication (not all the customizable watch faces allow the wallet complication, but the info boards generally do). in the meantime, send an error report to the developers and include your logs (watch logs are embedded in the phone logs). This is best done immediately after trying to add the Amex card to the wallet.

Now it's not letting me add a card, saying "Couldn't complete registration, try again later"

Am I the only one who's samsung pay works when it wants to since the latest update? It's very annoying when trying to use it and the watch just instantly times out multiple times before it actually works, but I also just had to re-add my debit and credit cards due to samsung pay not working and telling me to "contact customer service" this seems to happen every update and it's rather annoying.

I had the same and i figured where the issue is coming from: So what happened is that after the update it seems that samsung health NFC equipment detection is on all the time ( it should be normal) however when you open the card on samsung pay and ready, the watcj doesn't disconnect the samsung health equipment detection. So the pay reading machine wouldn't recognise the card on nfc. Temporary Solution: Go to NFC sittings under connection. Scroll to the end and choose other. Disable samsung health. Samsung pay should work normal after that. I believe it will be easily fixed on the next update. Hope this helps

I might have found the issue after the update. Below is what I did: On your watch drop down menu. Long press on NFC to get to NFC sittings. Scroll all the way down until you see others. Press on it. Then disable the Samsung health. Now it should not interfere with the card. Let me know you had the issue and if it worked.
