I did yes but I literally just un-installed it, rebooted phone, installed again and when I copied apps over Wallet didn't get copied anyway. ... Checked the difference in versions and on my S21U Samsung Wallet which works and is on version 5.1.80 · And my S23U version is 2.5.61, downloaded from Galaxy Store and doesn't update to anything newer.

Have you got a lock screen activated on your phone with some.form of security? You need to have some resemblance of security on it for it to work.

Open the "Galaxy Store" app (not Google Store). You can install or update "Samsung Wallet" in there.

January 20, 2025 - If it says EUX many times it means your phone is in a generic EU firmware, when it should have localised to a country specific one. There used to be multiple ways to change this 'CSC' code. When it happened to my S23 the only working free solution I found was an online tool SamFW which allows you to connect to your phone by ADB and change the CSC.

Hey y'all.

I was a proud owner of a S22 Ultra until I decided to swap it out for a S24Ultra. Amazing phone, I'm really loving the flat screen and superior thermals and performance.

I used Samsung wallet to do all my contactless payments since my card is busted and im too lazy to get a replacement, but when settings up my S24 Ultra i couldn't find Samsung Wallet app on the galaxy store, found it when browsing the galaxy store on my desktop and tried installing it remotely, but it failed because "This content is incompatible with your phone". I've logged in the same Samsung account on both phones and desktop but still am unable to install it or find it on the galaxy store on my S24 Ultra.

Any ideas?

Edit: thanks for the answers guys. after digging through I found out that my phone is the international version and not the Middle East version (Where I live) so I dug around more and found out some features can be enabled by changing the CSC, and it's a relatively easy process. So my next question is. Will changing the CSC affect getting monthly security updates? And is it possible for changing the CSC to enable the Samsung Wallet? I found two CSCs close to me which are UAE and Saudi Arabia. I'm not desperate for it honestly, and if it's too risky I can just ignore it, but yknow.

Well, Wallet was pre installed on my s24u when I got it and I'm in the middle east, which region are you in? It could end up being a region issue like another redditor said, at worst you might have to use Google wallet, of you still have your card details you can still enroll it onto Google wallet.

Hello, I just bought a brand new s23 ultra international version, everything works fine except when I try to install Samsung wallet / pay, it's not available on the galaxy store, and when I download it on the google play store and start the application, it says it's not compatible with my device ? What country, and how did you set it up?

It's not an incompatibility issue. It's the fact that it may not be available in your country. I dislike this idea that Samsung advertisers it internationally, but it's not available internationally. Might have better chances with Google Wallet. Even that wasn't available in my country until 2021.
