As long as it was on an auto cycle it should have a sensor and adjust the time accordingly. That being said I have always found that all in one's take FOREVER to dry things (although I can't speak to your particular model of machine of course). I also found it interesting that I noticed the other day at work (I clean showhomes) that despite the fact that some of them have Samsung all in one units in them, they also have matching dryers too. The fact that Samsung even makes a matching dryer should tell you something as well I would think. If the time doesn't adjust to being lower I would possibly stop the cycle and check to make sure the clothes (or sheets or whatever you're washing) aren't soaking wet (in which case I'd run them through a spin cycle again if you can before trying to dry them again. You also need alot more empty space in a dryer than in a washer for it to work efficiently. More on reddit.com

The problem with Samsung has never been their operation, they usually work pretty darn well when they're working! The issues lie within their long-term reliability and after sales service. I really hope this machine ends up doing well but given Samsung's track record I'm weary. More on reddit.com
