There’s a ton of negativity here for anything Samsung and all of these all in one combos. I had a Samsung washer/dryer that was here when I bought my house, they were 4 years old and I just sold them at 9 years old still working fine. Only problem I ever had was I changed a thermocouple and an idler pulley. Me and my wife wanted an all in one so we could save energy and open the space a washer takes to build shelving for more space. We also don’t have kids so drying times/laundry isn’t some huge concern for us.
So we got the Samsung, after a massive Home Depot sale and deal it was $1,800. It’s now back up to $2,500 I guess, but deals exist. Not a whole lot more than a stackable set and some sets were more. So let’s kill the narrative that they cost ‘way’ more. I’ve also read many complaints they don’t dry well or take forever. Not with the Samsung, the SOB can wash a load of laundry and dry it in an hour and a half. Clothes are perfectly dry every single time and they come out hot. After all the negativity I read on here and online I thought I made the biggest mistake of my life, total opposite. The machine is sleek, has way too may ridiculous features like Spotify and a ring camera connection. It was hilarious to use at first but it’s not something I’ll use long term. Everything about it has been awesome so far and yes there are modes that lake longer to wash/dry. Some of their AI sensing stuff, I turn it on and go to bed and wake up to clean clothes. I love it. Those will take hours but I don’t care, I’m sleeping. We only wash 2-3 loads of laundry a week anyways. I’d be lying if all the negativity didn’t have me concerned about reliability, especially with all the tech involved. But this machine looks really well built, it weighs over 300 pounds. But I guess we’ll go down that road when we get to it. As for now I can say that the Samsung all in one is awesome!

One year review of our Samsung 2 in 1 washer dryer.
Samsung Vented Combo Washer/Dryer - Initial Impressions
Samsung bespoke washer/dryer combo vented or non vented?
Samsung all in one washer/dryer worth $1000?
So we have had our Samsung 2 in 1 washer dryer heat pump for a year now, so I figured I'd do a review based on the last year.
For us, it has been a game changer for our laundry. It is really nice to have all the capability of this machine and the convenience of it with a young family. We have not gone easy on it, we run everything from clothes, bedding, our dogs beds and blankets. The self clean cycles are really nice and seem to work well, our condenser coils are basically perfectly clean and the performance hasn't changed one bit. We were a little worried that the long cycle times would be a bottle neck for us, but because it runs and does everything, we are able to start laundry overnight or if we will be out for a while so it's actually been easier to keep up with laundry versus having a traditional set.
I have also noticed we are using less detergent too. I set up both of the auto dispensers for detergent and we have had to fill them maybe 4 times in the last year. Even the largest loads only use 1-2 ounces of detergent.
Overall we are super happy with it and I would definitely get it again if I had to make the decision. Not having to switch loads and worry about the dryer vent are big pluses too.
