For context I'm thinking of getting a galaxy watch 4 for 5000 php (100$) because it's on sale right now. It's more premium brother is for sale for around 7,500 php (150$) should I save more money and buy a watch 5 for about 12,500 php (225 $) or should I buy the watch 4 this week. Keep in mind I'm a student and only ear about 60php a day (more than 1$) and all my money is about 100$. Thanks for reading and please give me advice

I can't help too much, but I do know I have just bought a GW4 2nd hand for £40 (only worn 3 times, apparently). I think it is still worth the cheap price it can be had at going by reviews etc. but I am yet to receive it 😄 I could have got a gw6 for £125-130 (never used but private seller). To me it wasn't worth the extra money at this time. I believe samsung said it will be supported for another 2 years.

I have had a GW4 since launch and recently bought a GW6 (both 44mm). I wear my watches 24/7 and just rotate when one needs to be charged. They are both set up the same way - same apps, settings, watch faces, etc.. I don't really notice a functional difference between the two except the GW6 battery maybe lasts a little longer but not enough to make a huge difference. YMMV

A couple of months ago, I posted about getting the Galaxy Watch 4 Classic, and after using it with my Huawei Mate 30 Pro for a while, I wanted to share my honest thoughts.

Battery life: The watch lasts around 2 to 3 days on a full charge, which is decent but not amazing. If you use GPS or always-on display frequently, expect it to drain faster.

Performance: Overall, it runs smoothly, but there is some lag, especially when scrolling quickly through apps. It’s not a dealbreaker for me, as it doesn’t affect normal usage too much.

Compatibility with Huawei Mate 30 Pro: Even though my phone doesn’t have Google services, the watch still works fine. Some features may be limited without Samsung Health syncing perfectly, but I haven’t had major issues with notifications or basic smartwatch functions.

Final thoughts: If you’re okay with slightly older hardware and minor lag, the Galaxy Watch 4 Classic is still a solid smartwatch in 2025. The design is premium, the rotating bezel is great, and it still holds up well for daily use.

It runs 2 days of battery life if you are not that physically active. Otherwise, 1 day at max if you are a runner and love lifting weights.

I've been searching for a smartwatch (and I think one with WearOS would be the best choice), mainly for setting up reminders/check calendar, control music, heartrate monitor, whatsapp notifications, google maps and keep track of very simple fitness activity.
I've found the Galaxy Watch 4 Classic on ebay for like 60$ but with all the shipping and import fees it gets to 100$. Is it still worth it now in 2025 or should I get another newer smartwatch for a similar price, if it exists? Thank you!
