I got a non-moving violation back in June and have yet to receive anything in the mail. I have also been checking the online portal weekly with my driver's license and ticket number but no luck. My court/appear date is approaching in under a month and I live more than 2 hours away so I can’t just pop in to check with the clerk. What are my options?
Anyone never get anything in the mail regarding a speeding ticket in San Jose? And how did you manage to handle it? I’ve had a couple tickets in my 20 years of driving, and always got something in the mail a month or so later that said court date, time OR fine to pay and how to do traffic school, granted these were always in other county jurisdictions. This time I’ve gotten nothing and I got the ticket in early September.
I AM aware of the court date on the ticket, I was just hoping to pay the fine and do traffic school instead of driving all the way to Morgan hill for court. Because of my kids and full time school, I wasn’t going to bother fighting it.
