Where to go for furniture in Sarasota?
Galloway's Furniture Store, Sarasota, Florida, designed by Victor Lundy in 1959. Partially demolished in the 1970s, some of the structure still survives within a nondescript exterior
This is what the building looks like today (yes, seriously)
Lundy was one of the more eclectic figures of r/ModernistArchitecture in midcentury America, willing to incorporate natural materials and organic forms in his designs; like several other major Modernists he cut his teeth in Sarasota, a hotbed of new design at the time.
Lundy, an influential member of the Sarasota School of Architecture from 1951-1960, designed some of the area’s most beautiful buildings in his nine years in Sarasota. Among them are the cobalt blue-tiled Pagoda Building on North Tamiami Trail (now the home of The Bay pubic park project), the glass-walled South Gate Community Center on Phillippi Creek, the geometric-roofed Warm Mineral Springs Motel in North Port, and St. Paul’s Lutheran Church on Bahia Vista Street, whose sweeping winged roofline continues to inspire.
Source. Major work outside Sarasota included the First Unitarian Church in Westport, Connecticut, a masterpiece which thankfully still stands.

I'm getting some basic furniture like a couch, desk, small dining set for my modest-sized apartment. Where should I go for good quality, yet moderately priced furniture? All and any suggestions welcome. Thank you!
