January 21, 2025Favorite 3-in-1 MagSafe Charger?
I bought the Satechi 3-in-1 MagSafe charger for the reasons below. I did a lot of research before buying and came up with a few requirements. I wanted a charger where my phone was suspended in the air and could pivot up or down. You can find this with some MagSafe chargers like the Belkin one. I wanted the watch in nightstand mode so I could just tap the table while asleep to see the time at night. I wanted a sleek but simple design that doesn't take up a large footprint and won't get in the way. I wanted fast charging for both Apple Watch and iPhone. Now the Satechi 3-in-1 didn't have the fast charging I wanted but ever since getting it I find I don't mind at all. I have the 13 Pro Max which holds a charge well and I mostly dock it on the charger so it's not laying around somewhere. Don't forget that even the Belkin chargers don't charge at 15w all the time. Also, the Satechi has a usb c port around the back as opposed to the barrel plug on the Belkin. More on reddit.com

If so how is it? Does it cause the phone to overheat? Is it loud at all? Thinking of picking a 3in1 stand charger up during Prime Day and this is on the top of my list but want to get some actual owners opinions. I’ll use this primarily as a nightstand so the no led is a plus

I bought this one during Prime Day sale. I really like it too but for some reason mine makes a small “electrical” noise when I put my watch on it. I only notice it because it’s on my bedside. I reached out to Satechi who have offered to replace it but I need to wait 30 days for the Amazon return window to finish otherwise I’ll just get a refund. Anyone else having a similar issue?

I took a chance on a smaller company and, while it wins in looks and compactness, it wasn’t consistent with its charging and would often times take longer than overnight to get watch or phone to a full charge. Do you just stick with belkins and anker models or is there something else I’m not aware of?
Ps- for context, I do sleep with my phone on cuz I use Apple Music for sleep sounds-like brown noise- and so my phone recommends me charge to 85%. I’d go to bed at 11pm and wake up at 7am and it would be at 80 or 81 and then take hours to get up to 85%. That never happened with my regular Apple phone charger or watch charger. I also sleep with my watch and will charge every day and a half. I have to give over two hours for it to charge my Apple Watch Ultra 2, starting at like 25-30%. Nuts!
