I got Satechi MagSafe wallet stand (on Apple Store) today and tested it with naked iPhone 15 pro (not max); comparing with the ESR wallet stand (not geo).

TLDR: ESR is better. satechi has design flaws.

YMMV with max/plus sizes +/- cases.

1. ⁠(Minor) Satechi doesn’t sit flush with bottom of iPhone 15 pro.

2. ⁠(Major) when opening wallet, satechi falls off at around 120 degrees because of the leather lip by the hinge. ESR can get close to max before falling off.

3. ⁠(Minor) Satechi only fits three cards comfortably (2 in front, 1 in slot), not 4, but I can see the leather softening over time to fit four. ESR fits 4 easily before middle starts bulging.

4. ⁠(Minor) Satechi wallet sometimes pop off when turning phone into landscape in either direction. Probably due to stiffness of leather/design.

5. ⁠(Major) When phone is in landscape, opening satechi wallet pops the wallet off right. Probably due to stiffness of hinge. It might soften up over time.

Other notes: satechi feels more ‘solid’ and heavier than ESR despite website specs listing Satechi lighter at 84.5grams and ESR at 93grams. Satechi has nice leather smell. Satechi is almost double the price than ESR for me.
