I just found out that the "Scuf Impact Controller" for PS4 and PC has been discontinued. My boyfriend and I like to think of ourselves as “skilled gamers.” For years, I’ve had my eye on the Scuf PS4 controller because I believed it would enhance my gaming experience and I loved how customizable it was. Over time, I kept revisiting the Scuf website to redesign my “perfect” controller tailored to my preferences. When the PS5 came out, I forgot about my PS4 since it broke. Still, I occasionally checked the site, hoping to save up and buy a reliable controller similar to the one I’d been customizing for years. Meanwhile, my boyfriend stayed loyal to the PS4 controller, especially the Scuf Impact model, which he absolutely loved. So, you can imagine our disappointment when, after deciding it was finally time to replace his broken controller from a few months ago, we discovered it was “no longer available!” I’m hoping to either find a similar alternative or convince the company to consider a special request on our behalf (that we’d definitely pay for!)—though I wonder which is more likely? I’m hopeful they will. If not, are there other companies or models like it? My boyfriend did get a PC Envision Pro controller, but I’m still going to explore options. Any good tips? (The picture is what his controller preferences are.) I’m mostly looking for him anyways!
