Yea it’s the best controller ive ever used. I was hesitant about the inlaid bumpers but i actually prefer them to the xbox elite controllers after a bit of use. The adaptable triggers are like clicking a mouse and the grips are extremely tactile (and no peeling rubber!) I havent had any stick-drift after over a year of heavy use, although I bought mine on amazon because of amazons cheap multi-year warranty…if anything ever does happen ill just notify amazon and ill get a new one without any hassle. August 22, 2021Does anyone have the Scuf Instinct Pro? I would like to hear your opinions about this Controller.
My wife bought one as an early Christmas present. The ability to change triggers to mouse clicks is really nice and the face buttons are not as loud as the regular controllers. The textured grips are a must for me and work as advertised. The pros are really great but the build quality is truly lacking for the price, specially when you start customizing it. The faceplate squeaks and moves a bit during normal play. The triggers give an uncomfortable feeling if pressed too hard. The buttons in the back are well positioned for my hands but can’t be removed like on the elite(I knew this going in, just didn’t realize it’s a convenience I’d like). The mute button does not work for wireless headsets which is a shame as it works fine on the standard ps5 controller and more convenient than any mute action on a headset. If you’re aware of the quality issues with the elite controller, this one is even worse at a much higher price. I doubt mine will make it through the year with only light use which is a shame because I really do like the controller, build quality aside. More on reddit.com

It looks solid for the price definitely looks on par or better than the Razer equivalent. I know Scuf gets a lot of flak but I love my Scuf Instinct. I tried about 8-10 different controllers finally landing on the Scuf as the my comfortable easily customizable controller I've used. Everything about it is great EXCEPT the price. I was fortunate enough to get mine for free =D.
But for those not wanting to drop the $229.99 for an Instinct I think this new Scuf Valor Pro might be the one to get. There aren't many reviews so I would say get one, try it out (I work as Best Buy very EZ return policy) 14 days to play that thing to the max before making a final decision but I challenge you guys to give it a look.
It's going for $109.99 at Best Buy. Hope to see some reviews on it from Halo players! And make sure you mess with the deadzones took me finding the perfect settings for my Scuf to truly shine and it wasn't a setting I used for other controllers.

I’m a little hesitant to buy this since it costs so much and Xbox controllers have a history of having dogwater quality control. So I was wondering if anyone here has gotten one and what their experience with it was. Thanks in advance!

I can’t really say much about long-term quality, I’m not putting as much hours into gaming as some of you so I really don’t know what 15+ hours of gaming per week would do to it but I’ve been using one for about a year now and it still works great. I had to return my first one though because the first one was delivered with one of the buttons not working. In terms of feeling and ergonomics I prefer this one a lot! The backside „bumpers“ are a lot nicer to use then the elites paddles!
