All seaborn color palettes together, so you don't have to search for them everytime
Would have been nice if they are sorted in diverging colormaps, selective ones etc. More on reddit.com

How do I plot multiple lines with different colors in seaborn lineplot?
Use the hue parameter to map a categorical variable to different colors. Example: sns.lineplot(data=df, x='time', y='value', hue='category', palette='Set1'). Seaborn automatically assigns distinct colors to each category and creates a legend.

Can I use seaborn lineplot with wide-format data?
Yes, but you need to convert it to long format first using pandas melt(): long_df = wide_df.melt(id_vars='x_column', var_name='category', value_name='value'), then plot with sns.lineplot(data=long_df, x='x_column', y='value', hue='category'). Alternatively, loop through columns and plot each separately.

How do I plot time series data with seaborn lineplot?
Pass datetime objects or pandas datetime columns as the x parameter: sns.lineplot(data=df, x='date', y='value'). Seaborn automatically formats date labels. For better control, use matplotlib's date formatting: import matplotlib.dates as mdates; ax.xaxis.set_major_formatter(mdates.DateFormatter('%b %Y')). Remember to rotate x-tick labels with plt.xticks(rotation=45) for better readability.

r/learnpython on Reddit: Creating Custom Seaborn Color Palettes from ONLY two Hex Codes? [Question]
July 5, 2020 -

Hi,

I am wondering if it is possible to create custom diverging seaborn color palettes by only giving it the starting and end colors.

So as an example, If I wanted Hex Code '#3877C7' to be the negative value and '#C75B38' to be the positive, is there a way to tell seaborn (or anything) this and have it automatically fill in the rest of the colors?

I know you can create custom palettes if you list off every combo you want, but that seems very manual if you are changing the two end colors often.

Thanks!

Color Palette Seaborn - Javatpoint
Seaborn is one of the most advanced and easy-to-use data visualization libraries in the Python language, based on Matplotlib. Among them is the enhanced solution to color scales which is particularly important for data visualization because color palettes are the determinative components of well-readable and beautiful plots.

However, this can be tedious when there are many items that must be encoded with color. Seaborn makes this task much easier by allowing us to set a palette of colors that can be cycled through in a plot. Seaborn has six default palettes including deep, muted, pastel, bright, dark, and colorblind.

September 30, 2024 - The color_palette() function is Seaborn’s way of creating custom color palettes. It allows you to switch between these different types of palettes by changing the palette name and the number of colors. When using named palettes (like "pastel" or "Blues"), the number parameter determines how many colors you see.
